You think that is right for the baby? Why should the woman be forced to carry a rape baby with her for 9 months and be constantly reminded of the incident? Not to mention, if the rapist had mental/physical issues or disorders (including psychopathy for example) there's a chance the baby could inherit those conditions.
Ask how many women that were raped if they forgot it. Have an abortion, don't have an abortion, either way, you're still gonna be traumatized, and you were still raped. Not to sound cruel or insensitive, but what I'm saying is, having an abortion won't undo the rape, that's still something you're gonna have to live with. Many women have regregeted having abortions, what if now they have to live with the trauma of being raped, and the regret and guilt of having an abortion?
You also mentioned "is that right for the baby", well, is it right for the baby to be aborted? Is it right for the baby to have their life taken away for circumstances, actions and feelings it had no control over, no part of, no responsibility for?
