Everything you said pretty much comes down to reverting back to the original situations and problems we had and which we tried to solve by implementing the recent contest changes.
- Contests have to be hosted by staff members. Being loyal and being responsible are two different things. At best a member will be able to host a contest for several editions, but most of the time they get tired of it after a while and even if somehow there would be a member who could keep going, the simple reality is that a member does not have the practical tools to host a contest efficiently.
- We removed contests because there were too much and not enough hosts and participants to keep all of them sustainable. So adding new contests is reverting back to a situation we wanted to remove.
- The contests have been made monthly to streamline all the contests and to officialize a situation that existed in practice already existed for a long time. Even though some contests were called weekly, in the very best of cases they were bi-monthly however regularly they ended up being monthly to.
