To assume people will do the right thing is a generalization as well by your logic. Trusting people to do what's right is unwise and naive, regardless of how "condescending" it may seem. It doesn't mean I always do what's right, it just means you shouldn't get your hopes up and you should always do it yourself rather than rely on others.
If someone has proven themselves to be trustworthy, I'll trust them, until then there's no reason to assume someone will do what's right just based on the fact that it's right.
really, now youre putting words in my mouth? whatever reason you have to justify your logic is your own ego, i dont give a damn. this thread isnt about me trying to tell you how you should be, for whatever reason you have the need to quote posts not towards you trying to justify yourself. very unwise, very naive
well life will humble you. how about not expecting anything instead of expecting everyone to do whats not right? whats "right" is high subjective, what you see as right and what others see as right, isnt always the same
