So having read the manga chapters where Danzo fought Sasuke and used Izanagi, and then where Tobi came to Konan in search of Nagato's Rinnegan and he used Izanagi, I still don't fully understand what exactly Izanagi is, but most likely I am just overthinking it. Anyways,
Also, I understand that Danzo's Izanagi was incomplete(also stated by Tobi), so I guess my real question is that since Danzo had an incomplete form of Izanagi, is that why each time he used an eye during the fight with Sasuke, each only lasted about one minute? So then assuming that Tobi is able to use the complete form of Izanagi, how is it that he was able to use it for so long while Konan blasted him with all billions of paper bombs? And then afterwards, both of his eyes remained open when he talked to Konan and killed her.

Tobi says that the user of Izanagi can take disadvantages like wounds or even death and turn them into nothing more than a dream. So is Izanagi basically just making an illusion that those around see, and the user controls what the illusion is? And if that is so, then how is it that Danzo was able to still make his death an illusion when his right arm was severed and he was cut in two? Sorry, I think I am overthinking this, but I'm just slightly confused. Also, I understand that Danzo's Izanagi was incomplete(also stated by Tobi), so I guess my real question is that since Danzo had an incomplete form of Izanagi, is that why each time he used an eye during the fight with Sasuke, each only lasted about one minute?
