This is actually a close fight.
We've seen the 4th's incredible speed is able to dodge the amaterasu, but I wonder if the 3rd can, I would assume he can
The sword of totska is useless against this kind of speed, too easy to dodge
The hell stab could do some serious damage, even the the susano'o, and with his incredible speed, I'm sure the 3rd can siggle his way around the susano'o to his back, were there is no yata mirror
Wind style is the only style able to break his lightning armor

this fight could go either way, the only thing Itachi truly has against the 3rd is his genjutsu

Draw or 3rd Raikage high difficulty. Itachi's arsenal can't hurt Raikage. Amaterasu would be his best option but 3rd Raikage could probably dodge it. If not, he gets hurt by it, but since Amaterasu burn slowly plus the fact he is protected by raiton armor, it won't put him down after a great while at least. By the time, his 3rd finger nukinite could probably try to break Itachi's Susanoo. If he is incapable too, he still has the stamina advantage. Because Itachi can't maintain susanoo for long, he would sooner or later be killed by his punches, lariat or nukinite(maybe even receiving amaterasu flames that should be on Raikage). But since by the time, Raikage was touched by Amaterasu, he would be killed later as well except if Itachi finally decided smh to stop the technique to avoid being hurt by it in close combat

itachi Madara put him in genjutsu, imagine what itachi could do.

In addition to the Raikage's physical strength, I'm sure he could break out of the genjutsu easily. Lololol I would love to see this fight though.

3rd Raikage does not has V2. so he its not faster.

Itachi its faster than sasuke.

Actually Naruto said that the 3rd Raikage was as fast as his son, even though he didn't have V2. And i'm pretty damn sure than V2 A is faster than Itachi. Also i think Sasuke might be as fast as Itachi at this point it time, however i guess we don't really know for sure.

3rd raikage win it, itachi will never be able to physically touch him and hes to fast to keep up with their for executing a genjutsu will be to hard,only thing itachi can do is defend and after awhile that won't help much.

I doubt he's fast enough to dodge amaterasu as Ay did it by the skin of his teeth and 3rd doesn't seem near Ay's speed considering an Sm naruto was able to out maneuver him.

I really don't see 3rd getting past susano'o let alone yata.

Amaterasu or paralysing genjutsu probably wins this for itachi in the end. But, then again 3rd raikage only needs to put pressure on itachi to keep at least rib cage susano'o up and wear his chakra down. It can go either way high diff, really.

3rd Raikage wins. Like the OP said, if Genjutsu was his weakness he would have told. Nothing in Itachi's arsenal will do damage except Amaterasu (which won't hit) and Totsuka Blade (which only hits if the target isn't moving). Ultimately Itachi will be outlasted even if the 3rd can't get through Yata Mirror.

False. KCM Naruto had nothing that could hurt the Raikage. KCM Naruto was not attacking Itachi with everything he had, they were conversing. You cannot use A>B>C logic anyways.

3rd Raikage wins. Tsukuyomi is a close range genjutsu, and the 3rd Raikage in close range is too fast for Itachi to make eye contact with. 3rd Raikage is too fast for Totsuka or Amaterasu.

Unfortunately Itachi is faster. The third Raikage's movements were well predicted by the alliance and Dodai, while Itachi is so fast that the Sharingan can't keep up with him properly. One second of eye contact leaves him unable to fight. Not even going to mention the effect of Itachi's other Mangekyo techniques on him.

Why are people pulling the Raikage dodging Amaterasu out of their ass when A needed V2 leveled Shunshin to dodge it. When he dodged Amaterasu A moved so fast that Sasuke couldn't even see where he went. Anyone who thinks Amaterasu will not hit him better show me a scan of him moving that fast. The 3rd's movements were easily reacted to by Dodai and Naruto.

-You people are clearly overrating his speed if you think he's as fast as A and if you think he moves so fast Itachi won't be able to track his movements. Dodai was able to react to him, Itachi does it effortlessly with his superior reactions on top of the Sharingan.

-Itachi's stamina isn't a factor here as the battle will not last nearly long enough for his illness to ever be considered a factor.

-If the Raikage comes in close for his One Fingered Nukite, Yata nullifies it and then Susanoo's hand snatches him up and this happens.
