3 Tomoe Madara vs Kakashi

Madara's katons might have aoe but they aren't dense, none of the katons he used burned through the ground. Even when he used majestic fire destroyer on flower tree world the flames themselves(even though they were burning wood) wasn't able to reach the gokage below the roots.

Solid rock being much more denser and no spaces or gaps between roots should hold up just fine. If anything dig deeper.
His only problem would be the gunbai.

I'm not comparing it to rock wall. I'm talking about if the flames will burn through rock like itachi's fireball did when kakashi dodged it via hiding like mole. And the fire tech he used against sa didn't burn through any rocks. My argument still stands since tree roots aren't as dense as bedrock.(not rock wall)

and yet the rocks that the sa were standing on wasn't burned through. Hiding like mole lets kakashI go into said rock dodging jubi size fireball all together.

He's basically on the verge of death when the battle is over.

And that's only because Madara doesn't have many versatile 3-tomoe feats.
