Not sure why you brought this back but I already addressed the clam. Puts his finger on the ground and senses it's location. Brining down the house busts it open. Genjutsu over.

Nope that's not how it works. Putting his finger to the ground merely tells him how many opponents there are in the proximate area, it does not tell him exactly where his opponent is. Not to mention he was no way of actually injuring Gengetsu, rasengan is not doing anything to him if he hydrificates.

normal sensing means dont work against the clam,
so finger sensing is not helping here,

by the time minato even figures the genjutsu out, the mizukage would use the water bullet to blow his head

Finger sensing is physical sensing and that's what's effective against the clam.

Really? Water Gun? How will he ever hit Minato with it? The only person he ever managed to hit with that was Onoki when his back have out and he was paralyzed and even that was just a clone. Minato does not need FTG to even avoid that either.

No its not, only contact sensing works on the clam,
finger sensing is based on what the user can percieve, its not different from any normal sensing that is based on sensing chakra or presense
however the clam itself is hidden within the mirage,
minatos abilities themselves wont change by the genjutsu but what he percieves would be, therefore hes not locating it
