Manga states Hashi is more powerful or Tobirama would have been the 1st, and it would have been him that fought Madara. Tobirama was defeated by Gold and Silver Bros and was killed by a group of 20 unnamed ninja. We don't know enough about Tobirama or the extent of his s/t and edo, which if it was as powerful as many are claiming, he wouldn't have been killed. They hype and feats from the manga both point to Hashirama as being superior, stop speculating and making Tobirama out to be better than he is when the manga clearly shows otherwise.

none of them called him the best. hes known as strongest of his time and can stop madara. madaras not representative of every ninja with a hax technique

doesnt matter. everyone probably thought naruto stood no chance vs neji but it turns out he hid a power from everyone and did it alone. everyone thought hiruzen was the most monstrous hokage but oro took him down. everyone thought kyubi was weak, even oro and nagato, who both stated they underestimated it.

The 1st's power has been compared to the SO6P by Kabuto. I never saw him say anything about Tobirama

kabuto didnt compare shit. he said both were considered legends. he didnt say hashirama was anywhere near as strong as rikudo. tobirama is shrouded in secrecy. who knows what he showed in his crazy battle with 20 elite kumo ninjas? no one was watching that. and we know he had some decidedly dark kinjutsus like ET. which he used often enough to be known by chiyo muu and kin/gin

If Tobirama was greater than Hashirama, then why does no one say that Tobirama was the strongest of his time?

we know for a fact who was REALLY the strongest ninja in the world during third shinobi great war (it was tobi) but no one besides himself was aware of that. who knows what kinds of crazy kinjutsu tobirama hid from everyone? ET was used often enough to be famous among the ninjas of that era.
kabuto stated its the greatest strongest jutsu in narutoverse.
so if hashirama is the greatest ninja then tobirama is the strongest ninja/most hax due to the fact he has a jutsu superior to anything in hashiramas arsenal. otherwise kabuto would respect mokuton as the strongest jutsu.

no he didnt. mito helped and so did probably an army of fodder senjus since tobi said madara fought the whole village by himself. if nine tails was under his control yet madara was still by himself then hashirama probs used his own bijuus to fight madara with.

why was tsunade hokage? why was orochimaru hiruzen's first choice over jiraiya/white fang? why was hiruzen hokage when surely there were other better stronger people than some kid?
unlike other villages, the hokage is not always the strongest person in the village.

But with Tobirama, you have zero evidence to suggest that Tobirama > Hashirama

Orochimaru using edo is not the same as Kabuto using edo. Kabuto could control way more edos than Orochimaru can. Orochimaru only controlled like two and he hardly used them to their true potential. Tobirama's edo technique is even worst, and who exactly would Tobirama use as an edo?

orochimaru controlled two 3 years before his death. who knows how much he completed it after that point? tobirama is a good guy so he didnt finish it to its true potential.

First off, Tobirama's edo was not as advanced as Orochimaru's one and it was incomplete.

Madara only ever talks about Hashirama, he never talks about Tobirama. All the hype goes towards Hashirama from the manga and never to Tobirama.

minato, kabuto, chiyo, muu (he wondered why 2nd hokage wasnt there among the edos, instead of say, hashi or hiruzen, meaning he thought 2nd deserved to be there even though he recognised third raikage), kin and gin (knew of edo tensei and didnt think the jutsu itself was any more advanced than it was in their time since they thought it was indeed him who resurrected them), and oro all expressed amazement at 2nd hokages power. it was said by anbu that it was unprecedented to see high level suitons without a water source, and it was said by many ninjas that hokages in general are all incredibly strong. not JUST hashirama or minato.

Also, there is a reason he was chosen as Hokage first over his brother
