We're about as relevant as a fly splattered on your windshield
"Nobody is important" is a bunch of crap. If you're important to other people, then you're important. Space might be vast, but as far as we know, it's empty. A bucket full of nothing isn't more valuable than a pocket of gold just because it's bigger.

Nope, the space is not empy, if you can see if full of stars and galaxy, also even the empty space is full particles so.
Yeah but what is the actual value of that stuff? Value is relative, not objective, so something like the vastness of the universe doesn't decrease importance as people in relation to each other.
Who cares if the universe cares.Well if you die or someone else (I don't what that) the universe doesn't care, but is very cleary that our existince is very insignificant and uniportant.
I mean now, are so many species that have disappeared due to mass extinctions, that makes clear that the universe is not made for support life and we just a cosmic accident, our existence is irrelevant.
Who cares if the universe cares.
If a person dies, another person feels pain. That experience is real. That experience exists. That experience is strong. That means value. The universe is a vast emptiness. Yes, it's filled with rocks and particles, and shit happens inside, but it's empty. It's not alive. It's a bucket of rocks. So who gives a shit if the universe doesn't care. We're not here for the universe. Yeah, it's spectacular, but at the end of the day, we're here for people.

My whole point is this: It's not that simple, I mean this this is only our point of view, maybe you are right maybe I am right, but any case the reallity is very vast, there are so many things and many people who these days they are ignorant.. put very much emphasis on little things, but anyway..

I look at threads like this and laugh . You guys are honestly confused.
God is just a ”word” a human concept."If the milky way were the size of the united states, our whole solar system would be a sphere two inches across and the sun itself would be the size of period at the end of a sentence. The nearest star system would be a football fields distance away, and all other stars are roughly the same distance from one another; and the milky way is just one out of a billion galaxies in the observable universe. When you compare the shear size of the universe, human life not only looks tiny, but as significant as the bacteria that you kill without thought every time you brush your teeth." - A theist who still argues in defense of the existence of god
I agree. People just use the size of the universe to justify their nihilism.
God is just a ”word” a human concept.
And the size of the universe is just a way to show people how insane is the God concept.
