Just imagine, how powerful we are that we know that such things as other galaxies exist! I absolutely refuse to think that other galaxies are "empty." It's only our laws of physics state that light and water are necessary for a living substance.
Speaking of our small Earth, just imagine: for example, you are bewildered and say something offensive to a person who happens to be a chief scientist who is about to launch a newly-developed rocket which is supposed to destroy a massive approaching asteriod. He gets into a car accident and his team of scientists miscalculate the approaching asteroid and it hits the Earth. Surely, it's a fiction, but just think it over how much power every our decision and word possess.

Who cares if the universe cares.

If a person dies, another person feels pain. That experience is real. That experience exists. That experience is strong. That means value. The universe is a vast emptiness. Yes, it's filled with rocks and particles, and shit happens inside, but it's empty. It's not alive. It's a bucket of rocks. So who gives a shit if the universe doesn't care. We're not here for the universe. Yeah, it's spectacular, but at the end of the day, we're here for people.

That pain is just a bunch of chemicals amplified by the more moronic parts of human culture. Humans are no more important than any other animal, or anything else in the universe.

There is no value because we come from nothing with no purpose, and end as nothing. People, culture and society may kid you that humans are valuable, but they're not. In the grand scheme of things, we're just a temporary mark that gets wiped away quickly. We die and so do the people who know us, leading us to be forgotten and our existences to be as if we were never even here.

If you're lucky and you get lasting fame, you'll continue to be recognized for a longer period but even that takes your existence from being what might be a nanosecond to a millisecond in the time-line of the universe. Even the most famous and lasting human figures in culture are 100% guaranteed to have their existences vanquished, be it in 10, 1000 or 1,000,000,000 years. Ask yourself, "would I know who any of my 4x great-grandparents are without genealogy?" - The vast majority of people would answer with a resounding "no". Their lives, their faces, their voice and even their name... all disappeared in such a way that nobody would not know they had been there in the first place.

A very pessimistic estimate would say a few million intelligent life forms have/do exist in the universe.

God is just a ”word” a human concept.
And the size of the universe is just a way to show people how insane is the God concept.

for me, the size of the universe just shows me how we are weak and under the supreme weight and power of god. and when I look at how I'm big compared to the vitamins and atoms in me, and how they are majestically complex and how they behave and interact, I conclude that size is really irrelevent and that the equations and the laws are the only thing absolute in this universe.
if x = y then
x - y = 0

now if you give x the value 1, automatically y = 1 and x - y = 0

if x = 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

automatically y = 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

and x - y = 0

size is irrelevent, only laws are absolute. that is why we are not insignificant, and for me it is one of the evidences of god's existence. although it may be for you an evidence of his inexistence. ;D

There are more galaxies than stars in the universe. So knowing this fact makes you automatically think why there exists so much "waste of space", it's because gravity determines the shape and nature of the universe. Gravitity is the rule and the cause of casuality which has decided that your existence is somehow "precious" to this planet.

But what's righteous when countless of children die every year?, they have not even begun to explore this questionable reality but they still die so young. So i think this law applies to every mortal in this universe, " You are born with your right to die, but the right to live is only earned by strife and hard work ".
