Well I admit, this series was a disappointment. Everything has been wasted so far.

To make it worst I just started watching this kind of sucky anime called Ef- A tale of melodies, and the main chick who gets beat and raped by her brother all the time looks just like Akame. -____-

I kind of feel bad for Punk now. He's probably the only one left who thinks AgK is a good manga. Well, I guess he's safe since the author would never let Esdeath be embarrassed in a fight. Takahiro wanks her too hard.

Maybe try out Nanatsu no Taizai? PP and Josh like it. I don't really like it myself. Though, that's probably because I tend to shit on Shounen works so I don't really enjoy the Naruto-AgK type of works like I used to back when I started reading Japanese stuff.

Honestly I don't really like shounen too much either. I like story driven stuff rather than fights, with good music, good writing and an creative plot.

So like slice of life, seinen, adventure, romance, psychological, mystery, comedy, I love some action but not where it's the focal point.

Try Kara no Kyoukai movies, in that case. Maybe if you're willing to read Visual Novels, you could pick up Fate/Stay Night and Tsukihime because everyone agrees their respective animes aren't really doing that good of a job and can only be fully enjoyed by VN readers. Okay, maybe not Tsuki anime. That shit is so horrible people pretend it does not exist.

10 actually, lol. It goes in this order KnK 1 > KnK 2 > KnK 3 > KnK 4 > KnK 5 > KnK 6 > KnK 7 > KnK Epilogue > KnK Mirai Fukuin Extra Chorus > KnK Mirai Fukuin. Just watch them in this order. The chronological order of the series is different, but this is the order they should be watched in. Movie 1 is confusing as hell since it throws you into the middle of the story and doesn't characterize anyone; it's just a set up. KnK 2 is the point at where it starts characterizing and going into the actual story. Some of the characters can be a bit difficult to understand such as Lio, but it all depends from what perspective you view him and whether you'll like him in the end or not depends on that.

The movies aren't that particulary long. I got through them in two days or so and I am kind of slow.

Nasu never really used the ordinary type of story-telling. His bigger works are kind of watched in different orders. For example, you should read Fate/Stay Night before watching Fate/Zero because Zero depends on Stay Night knowledge even though Stay Night's events happen after Zero.

To be honest, I knew it wouldn't live up to my standards from the very beginning because of its bluntness. But then again, there are only a few manga series that I ever enjoyed thoroughly. AgK to me is like some action movie with a cliche plot and characters but cool special effects and stunts - I can like that, but it won't leave much impact.
