It was a sunny day and the rays of light flashed down onto the dark slums of the Capital, as the slums were dirty and dark, one would say that it's residents lead an unhappy and saddening life. However, while that is true for the most, there is one boy in particular that sticks out from the crowd. That boy was... Kaito.
While being surrounded by garbage scattered around the street, young Kaito continued to skip after the butterfly that found it's way into the streets of the slums. Under closer inspection, you could very well notice that the boy was delighted by the butterfly's appearance and was trying to catch it, in hopes of making a new friend. However, there was something wrong with his eyes. It's not that they were particulary damaged or anything, but the boy's retardation clearly showed if you looked into them. But even so, those eyes weren't out of place with the rest of little Kaito's appearance. His teeth were black like a nightmare, as he never washes them, and his clothes were basically... well.. rags.
However, even with the boy's saddening appearance, he clearly was emitting an aura of happiness rather than that of sadness. Yes, the butterfly was something like the boy has never seen. It was like some kind of a divine being to the boy. In fact, he found the butterfly more interesting than his favourite game, staring at fresh paint leaking down on an old wall.
Young Kaito was so into this game of chase that he completely was unaware of his surroundings as he left the slums ages ago and was already in front of the Imperial Palace, where the young emperor resides. No one is allowed to enter the palace unless they are under special conditions, but that didn't matter to young Kaito, as he simply lacked enough intelligence to notice the big palace in front of him.
Entering the palace while in chase of the butterfly, Kaito was already in the Imperial Garden, the butterfly almost in his hands. Just about as he was going to reach the small butterfly, a big foot came down on the butterfly and crushed into the ground which made Kaito jump back out of shock and fear, being completely surprised. He looked at the giant that killed his new friend. Yes, it was none other than... GREAT GENERAL BUDO!!
Kaito's face went pale. No matter how much brain cells he lacked, he knew that Commander Budo was someone to be feared. Budo didn't like the fact that a dirty child, an intruder, entered the Imperial Palace as he roared, asking young Kaito as to what the **** is he doing inside of the Imperial Walls. As little Kaito was too dumb to understand the common language, he started crying. Budo, on the other hand, was already running out of patience with this kid and seeing as how he can't reason with him, he decided it would be best to just knock the little runt out.
Budo charged at Kaito with his full speed, his fist at ready, but just about as he was ready to smash little Kaito, the little one dropped to the ground and curled up into ball out of fear. Budo, not being able to react quickly enough, tripped over Kaito and fell to the ground, his nose smashing into the cold grass bellow. He was knocked unconscious.
A few minutes passed before Kaito realized this, however. Finally standing back up, Kaito's fear still showed on his face, but just as he approached Budo and saw the older general knocked out, Kaito's fear immediately left his face. Kaito stood there... When a thought came to him... ''HE WAS THE ONE WHO KNOCKED OUT GREAT GENERAL BUDO!''
Kaito puffed up with pride and approached Budo's body, a smug expression adoring his face. He looked down on the older man and spat on his head, a single sentence escaping his mouth ''Nothing personnel, kid.'' Feeling proud about himself, Kaito raised both his arms up as if resting them on two other people's shoulders on both his left and right sides. Kaito's smug expression grew even stronger, as he walked off with his imaginary women, his ''waifus'', into the sunset.
