Do these element affinities really matter that much considering that we've known about them for ages and it's been said that it's something that everyone has? Not to mention some of them can use jutsu outside of their elemental affinities.

I do like both Wave and Kurome but honestly, I don't expect Kurome to survive for much longer. She coughed up blood, and I doubt there are any Deus Ex Machina cures in AgK-verse (sure Doro could have probably done something but why would she). Though I hope that if she dies, it's in a fight against Akame, somehow, even if Akame doesn't have to actually kill her.
