See AC , I told you Brath beats Akame u_u &@ Saby : the Teiugi itself might be strong(in this case incursio) but if the wielder is weak(Tatsumi) than it doesn't matter , this has been stated in the manga already.

Tatsumi is not top 10 material .

I'm starting to think Braht can beat Seryuu and Mein can beat Akame.
Braht has a good chance, but still falls to Seryuu's bigger moves though. And I don't think Mine can really take down Akame considering that the latter is portrayed as superior and that she can pretty much blitz anyone who cannot catch her or doesn't have a good defense for her blitzes such as Incrusio, Koro, Grand Chariot, etc.

I agree with pretty much the whole list, but I disagree about Wave's placement.
This is the best list so far imo >.>
Good list, Matthew. However, could you guys explain to me why do you think Akame has a chance against Wave in 1v1? Not gonna say anything about Tatsumi since he has his chances, but I don't see Akame having a chance. Even though she is indeed more skilled than him, Grand Chariot is powerful enough to make that ''difference in skill between them'' a non-factor.

Her only way of killing the enemy is completely by Wave's armor. She can't handle him in CQC as seen when he simply punched her away. [ ][ ] And lastly, her speed doesn't mean anything really as he has [ ] while keeping an eye for side from Mine at the same time. Not to mention that he was about to steamroll her, but was ambushed by Mine.

Going by feats and hype, Tatsumi is top 10 material.

It may be just me being a fan of Tatsumi, but i think he is pretty strong. He could keep up with Night Raid and fight without a Teigu. The author didn't say anything or portrayed him as being talented, because he needed to give him a sort of an aura of "not knowing much" guy. But Tatsumi is strong. If he didn't have the power to wield Incursio, the Teigu would have beaten him. He can mantain invisibility long enough and he can fight good, even if the straining is present. Feats or hype, i think he is top 10 material at least. u_u

I really don't see how Tatsumi isn't top 10. Most of them can't handle his speed nor invisibility. He pretty much steamrolls anyone who isn't top 10 excluding maybe just maybe Schere and Rabac, but he beats them as well anyways.

Also, sorry PP, but I re-read some chapters and am starting to think that Akame and Tatsumi can take down Stylish.

Exactly this. Also, stylish can win only if he has intel. If Tatsumi goes on invisible mode, what can he do? Also, one step wrong, he lets his back uncovered and Akame has an opening.

Pretty much. I don't think Stylish has a way of locating Tatsumi since he can't really sense his killing intent like Akame or Esdeath, he doesn't have someone like Koro or a radar at his side nor does he have an armor that can protect him from Tatsumi's attacks. As for Akame, I think she can take him down mainly because she is a bit too fast and because she can easily get up to the head of Stylish's monster without Tatsumi's help.

By the way, what about Ran? Even with his current feats, I believe we are underestimating him a bit. Though that may be the Ran fanboy in me talking.

Just a question; Even though Ran didn't show his true potential yet, should he go up in the top characters list? After-all, his base speed was good enough for him to evade Esdeath's attacks, he is calm and can analyze the situation, can enter aerial combat and his attacks (feathers) were fast enough to hit Akame. Not to mention that he has shown to be quite good at tricking the opponent as seen when he almost killed Mine, but Akame saved her.

Ran can fight only in an open environment. In a room or something, he can't use his wings, so no advantage. He could keep up with Akame back then because he was in open space. Put them both in a building and Ran is done for. Also, he can't fly over and over again, he said something about his powers not lasting very much. His Teigu goes on the same principle as Incursio's invisibility. I wouldn't be so sure whether to raise his place in the top or let him be as he is now, because we still don't know what his trump card does. Even if he has a sharp mind, we can't use that as a feat for the top.

Hmmm he did? I don't remember him saying anything about that nor does the wiki mention it at all. And when we rank characters' skill in head-on combat the enviroment we usually rank them by is a plain grass field because some enviroments may either be an advantage or a disadvantage to certain characters.

I'll look for that scan and see. I definitely recall something he said about it.

Has anybody thought that Ran may be a spy as well as a Jaeger? >.> He is never present when big fights occur, he's always near Esdese..The problem is for who..It can be the Rev. Army and also the Prime Minister (to see the moves of Esdese). Although, even if he was a spy, wouldn't Esdese have discovered this by now? This guy is so misterious..

@Bold. No, because Ran is a fvcking boss. Just joking. Ran is most likely on Esdeath's level considering that it has been implied more than once when he kept up with her in CQC with a smile on his face and was confident enough to say he could kill her.

He's either the leader/second-in-command/general/whatever of a third currently unknown army/organization or a spy for that army. Although, going by how the manga is portraying him and considering how he implies that his skill is on Esdeath's level if not even above Esdeath's level, it's unlikely that he is a simple spy.

It has to be an unknown organisation that is pulling the strings from the shadows. If this thing really exists, then something big is coming. I like the thought of Ran being the second-in-command in an organization.

Re: ϟ ☱ Akame ga Kill FC ☱ ϟ

Regarding Stylish, the reason I put him in such high regard is because of his feats of taking on Night Raid on his own. I know his army is a similar case as Kabuto, but I think it's unfair to just take them away from him. AGK is not a battle arena without prep after all. It's the same reason I think Chelsea deserves a spot.

He already defeated some Night Raid members ( including Akame ) before, and what he did to Night Raid makes him one of the strongest AGK characters of all-time, in my opinion.

Making a top 10 based on what would happen if you put characters in a battle arena just isn't a valid way to rate them.

I believe Mein has enough reaction to at least follow Akame's movement seeing as how she could indeed track Wave's movement and Ran while he's mid-air. I can see her hitting Akame rather easily with that huge shot she did that completely covered Wave, and she can drag her laser like the the Juubi did it's laser. Akame doesn't have huge aoe attacks from long range like Esdeath, diversion like Kurome, or the defense like Braht or Wave. I believe Akame loses.

That's not how I rank AgK nor Naruto characters because if I were to rank them by who and what they managed to take down, we'd have to consider Braht to be top 3 and we'd have to consider Sasori to be top 10 - 5. I rank them by how good they would do in battles between each others in the arena. After-all, this is a top ''strongest'' character list, not a who would do better with prep and in certain situations/enviroments list.

Still don't see it. She can track Akame's movements, but she can't hit Akame nor really keep up with her on foot. Akame has shown speed on Wave's level although Wave is still a bit faster and it has been shown that someone as fast as Wave can easily dodge Mine's shots. Not to mention that Mine doesn't really have a good reaction time. The only reason Wave got hit by Mine's shot in the end was because she ambushed him while he was going for Akame, thinking that Mine went to the cathedral. If anyone's gonna make such a mistake here, it's going to be Mine.

Well that's what I mean. Even if you have to balance it out, feats are feats and they don't count for nothing. You can't just call Chelsea weak even though she almost killed Kurome. Doesn't matter what type of killing it is. You should respect a character's fighting style.

Akame has the speed to her advantage. It has been noted multiple times that Mein may be a genius sniper and that her Teigu is very dangerous, due to it adjusting its power on spot, but Mein always lets her back uncovered. Pumpkin hits frontally, but if Akame is smart enough to drag Mein into a trap, Mein might just open the fire, Akame escapes and with her speed and Mein being uncovered, really, Mein is done for.

If Mein wants to finish a battle, she has to finish it in one blow. Her trump card needs time before it's being used again. As i said, Akame is intelligent enough to make Mein fall into a trap. She fires her shot, Pumpkin needs to "regenerate", she's done for. In battles, skill is not enough to win. The fighters' personalities are what decide, in a way, the result of the battle. A calculated and calm person might not fall into traps, whereas somebody who is ruled by feelings and has a strong spirit might do it (Mein).

Wave isn't a bit faster than Akame, he's a lot faster. But can Akame dodge Mine's drag shot? Her drag shot has ridiculous speed and it's constant laser unlike normal bullets which just shoots once. What this means is that it eliminates the times of pointing, pulling trigger and the bullets' travel time, all Mine has to do is point Pumpkin at Akame and Akame is dead. And she certainly can do it because she can already follow and point her gun at Wave's movement and Ran's flying speed which are both incredibly fast. And the further Akame is from Mine the more distance she has to cover to compensate for Mine's range of motion, only making it easier for Mine to hit her. And the laser itself is wide too, when shot straight and not dragged it spanned wider than a transformed Koro which is huge.

How can Akame make a trap from range and the runs all the way around to Mine's back and hit her? Mine's back is uncovered only when she's focusing on one target, she isn't going to let that happens in this scenario at all.

Pumpkin has been shown to shoot multiple shots simultaneously, there's no regenerate after just one shot except for the drag shot, and that only applies to the drag shot itself. Akame has to get close to cut Mine, and her normal laser has been shown to span to a diameter way larger than Wave's height in just few meters.
