The fact that Furuta did not take the the fight against Kaneki seriously doesn't mean Furuta is strong. Furuta isn't a strong character, in my opinion, that is why he would rather play dumb and be humiliated than take the a fight seriously and die.

Though I think Kaneki is Arima's equal, he is not mentally prepared to unleash hi full potential against the white reaper. Keneki is anticipating his death by the hands of Arima, therefore Kaneki he won't be able to go all out. Something needs to occur to set Kaneki in a battle state of mind...

That is not going to happen. The two characters that Kaneki cares for the most are Hinami and Touka. What I do see happening in future events is Touka meeting up with Kaneki while Eto is off in the distance watching, and if Eto really does love Kaneki, then naturally she would want to...

Well, Kaneki does look like Arima. Sigh Smh You can see Shiono (Sen Takatsuki's / Eto's manager) on the bottom left hand panel. It doesn't look good for Shiono, specially after seeing Kaneki with that evil smile and Furata, his new partner, behind him. Apparently Noro is Urie's new Kinke.
