Cus seeing him being defeated would have been disrespectful to the character, letting him be backstabbed and then having them fight some monsterhumanoid left him untouched. It's a double edged sword.

I know there was that movie long time ago. But like, are there criminals in there? And if they are what is their opinion on Sasuke and Orochimaru? Or even Kabuto? Do they think it's unfair?
