I just realized that hiruzen has never even solid in battle. He far his life protecting the lea but basically won against orochimaru by takin orochimaru to the point where he could no longer battle.

I think Obito was the Ashura reincarnate prior to Naruto until his heart went dark and ashuras chakra passed and indras took over. I think that's why Madara chose Obito. I also think Indras chakra left Obito early and entered Sasuke.
