I see what you mean. But you can't become a great ninja with just large chakra reserves. You need to develop some good techs to go with it. Part 1 Naruto with just shadow clones will be useless against anyone with decent taijutsu skills or basic elemental techs.

Sasuke and Itachi were under sound genjutsu, and looked into each others eyes to break out. But how were they able to do that if they were under genjutsu? I thought that you were under an illusion once you get caught in a genjutsu so how could they see each others eyes?
