So my suggestion(s) is as follows: Suggestion 1: My suggestion is that, when a thread has reached it's expiration date (1 month of not posting), that the date of the thread's colour to be changed (Probably Red). Red would stand out, and it would be easier to spot an expired thread easier...

I think it's for air ventilation...His eyes are practically outside the mask. Meaning his face is probably squashed in the mask making him sweat a lot. So the third hole causes the breeze to fly in and calm his face.
