Is it just me or was it a great idea for Kishi to introduce Akatsuki in part 1? If they were introduced in Shippuden, it would've been total b/s. A new group of bad guys appearing out of nowhere wouldn't have been smart. So introducing Itachi and Kisame in part 1 was very smart of Kishi to do.
