But in manga i've read hagomoro said 'there's no way saving him'. If he wanted to kill him then why he looked so sad when madara dead?

1. In chap 690 after they've sealed kaguya, he looked sad, not happy or relaxed at least. 2. Did he try to help madara or kill him?? He looked so sad too when he saw madara's death. For the first time i thought he never care bout madara.
