Sasuke reveals his true intentions..!!
The opening panel shows Naruto and Sasuke standing atop Hashirama and Madara's statues respectively
Sasuke- Let me tell you what I mean by Hokage.
Naruto- I'm not interested in what you mean! I know what it means to be Hokage and I'm not going to sit here and let you diminish the name.
Sasuke looms angered over at Naruto
Sasuke- This is your problem Naruto. You're too close minded, once you get an idea in your head, you don't change. Even now, you still cling to the idea of Hokage you had as a child, but look around you Naruto, look at what that meaning of Hokage led to.
Naruto turns his head in all directions, he can see the branches of the Shinju sprouting out of the ground, and the civilians of the Leaf Village still trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi
Naruto- This situation wasn't created by the Kage, it was created by people who think like you. People who think that power will lead to peace, instead of mutual understanding. That's why I feel calm and tranquil around you, Sasuke. That's why I never let go of the idea of you as a comrade, because I understand the pain you had to endure.
Sasuke- You understand nothing, Naruto. If you truly understood the pain I endured, you would side with me and let me carry out my revolution. But you don't, even now you're fighting both for and against something you don't understand. The Tailed Beast are the perfect example.
Naruto- ??
Sasuke- Do you really think that people will change because the Tailed Beasts changed? Do you really think the lust and desire for power will evaporate into oblivion, simply because the Tailed Beasts had a change of heart?

Naruto- You call that peace, Sasuke?! If anything that's just intimidating people to force your own views on them!
Sasuke- And your way is no different! Just like now, you are trying to force your views on me, trying to get me to change my mind to replicate yours. But it's not going to happen. I had a mindset before this and it has changed, for the better, unlike you Naruto. You've had the same mindset since the day you became literate, and that mindset, the same one shared by the Kage of the previous generations, led to this.
Naruto- Enough talk, Sasuke! We'll decide this right here and now. I made a promise to Itachi and Sakura-chan, I promised them both that I would bring you back, and I never go back on my word, that's my ninja way!
Sasuke- So be it, Naruto. This ends now.
The panel splits between Naruto and Sasuke, Naruto enters his Rikodou mode, while Sasuke envelopes himself in his Susano'o ribcage.
Naruto and Sasuke both jump down from the statues and land on the water below, quickly running towards each other, Sasuke has a Raiton blade in his hand, while Naruto uses his goududama to create a rod.
The two clash and the panel zooms out to show a huge explosion.
The scene switches to Kakashi and Hagoromo.
Sakura is still unconscious from Sasuke's genjutsu.
Kakashi kneels down next to her, trying to release the genjutsu, but is unsuccesful.
Hagoromo- It's no use, Kakashi. Sasuke's genjutsu is of too high a level to be broken by anyone without the Rinnegan.
Kakashi- Are you able to release it?
Hagoromo- Unfortunately no, my power is fading, and my time is up. But before I go, I want to bestow some knowledge upon you.
Kakashi-....
Hagoromo- Have faith in Naruto and have faith in Sasuke as well, they both wish to protect the ninja world, though their means of going about it differ, just know their intentions are pure. They are both unlike any transmigrants from generations before, and I know this time, it will be love that overcomes hatred.
The panel shows both Naruto and Sasuke struggling to keep their footing against each other as the both push back and forth.
Hagoromo- I know this time, the world is in safe hands..
The world has been entrusted to the next generation..!! The final battle to decide it all starts now..!!
