In the early episodes of the English dub they translated datebayo as "Believe it!" as a catchphrase instead of a compulsive speech habit. However they eventually realized it was too annoying and stopped translating "Datebayo" altogether.
So how is the english dub going to handle Naruto meeting his mother?
"You're the Ninetails!"
"I am not. Believe it!"
"Hey...I used to say that like four years ago. Those were the days. You must be my mother!

If they stopped translating it why are you worried about it still ?
