Ok maybe he wasnt a crybaby but the parents could have limited the time their son was playing games thats their fault because they didnt control their son before it was to late they probably just left him alone in the room all the time and i know about the adiction but as a said the the kids that become adicted from video games are the ones that are lonely and their parents dont care about what he is doing
*sigh*
I've got to correct you there as well. That's not how the addiction process works. It is caused by an inner dependency in the individual person. If they have a stressful life then they find a means of escape. This child's escape was his video games. However, he became too attached, the Xbox turned into his only method of stress relief and escape from the world. He decided to stop facing things head on and deal with his problems so that he could just escape into the fantasy world of online gaming.
The addiction exists, you can't just prevent it. Sure, the parents could have limited time, or simply not give him a game in the first place. However, that would not have prevented it, it would have just made the symptoms less hazardous.
And the addicted population isn't created because their parents didn't love them enough or didn't pay attention. It is caused by the individual's current mindset, emotions, and mental stability. You'll find, that individuals who suffer from Bipolar, schizophrenia, autism, and aspergers are at a much higher risk of succumbing to any form of addiction. Also, a large majority of the world's youth has actually been found to suffer from one mental instability or another, aspergers actually being the leader in constantly appearing cases.
So it's not the parent's fault either. They simply didn't know what was happening. How could they know their son suffered from an illness they probably knew nothing about? In the end it really isn't anybody's fault at the end of this story, it's just a sad tragedy.
