i ask again, where does it say this? where in anywhere does it say that only if you have both then you go blind? can't you just accept that the author has been using these asspulls for the longest now? this being one of them.

If it's not Hashirama's DNA then I don't know what it is. As for Kakashi; I lean to the idea that it's due to a bit of PNJ. Also; duly note that I didn't make much of an argument in regards to Kakashi, so that part is simply my personal opinion.

Kakashi has not gone blind because he barely uses it, Itachi had the MS for YEARS without going blind, just think about the fact that Itachi had the MS when he killed the Uchiha clan and still had not gone blind at the time of his death.

Kakashi will deffo go blind as he noticed the eye sight got worse after using his MS and told Itachi it was a double edged sword right at the start of part 2.

As for Obito there was a manga panel like 6 months ago where he said he will have to use his EMS, maybe it was just a bad translation but maybe he has so many Sharingan he transplanted a spare one in a while ago and its now an EMS. But I promise you that it never ever said that neither of them go blind at any point so don't state your wild speculation as fact.

Also...Itachi said, "Mangekyou Sharingan, this EYE is special, as soon as it awakens it moves towards the darkness" meaning he is referring to it in a plural form.

Obito is not going blind because of the stamina boost from senju dna's lifr giving energy properties and kakashi does not spam his kamui nor did he unlock and spam suusano one of the strongest techniques granted to those that have acquired the Mangekyō Sharingan, it is the user's guardian deity, but at the same time, it consumes the user's life.He also cannot afford to spam since he has minimal chakra reserves but sooner or later kakashi will go blind

When he met Itachi again Kakashi just certify his own theory about MS. From the very start when we had seen the flashbask of Rin's death Kakashi was bound to lose his eye sight eventually from using MS.

The problem here is that even if he did experience it on his own it wasn't mentioned, but he asked Itachi seeing his pain of using it... so it makes sense.
