Same for me as well. I like both characters eventhough i like Hinata more, so i only try my best to argue logically instead of downgrading others only to show fanboyism even more and more to prove that the character you like is the best, and i don't really see the point on bashing the other

It's ok, that happens to me as well, I like them both, but I started to like Sakura more after I saw the unnecessary hate.
Maybe if I wouldn't have felt the need to protect her more, Hinata would be today my top favourite.
