I'm more inclined toward Sakura winning.

Hinata hasn't shown all that much post-skip, she definitely has potential but as far as I'm aware (granted, I haven't been completely up-to-date with the manga) Hinata has shown very little and the one move I can think of that might do the trick (Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists) lacks any notable feats. As for Sakura, she's been taught to dodge attacks as one of her primary objectives. A lot of this was shown in the battle with Sasori, and even though a decent portion of that was due to Chiyo's efforts, it does show that Sakura has some competence and Sasori's onslaught of attacks are significantly more threatening than anything in Hinata's repertoire.

Furthermore, Sakura packs a lot of power. One hit should be sufficient to take down Hinata. Hinata could certainly shut down Sakura if she used Gentle Fist on her properly, but with Sakura's speed and evasiveness, such a hit seems unlikely.

I don't recall Hinata ever displaying significant speed, Sakura showed good feats against Sasori but I don't think Hinata has ever shown amazing agility to overwhelm Sakura.

Plus the third databook has Hinata at 2.5 speed and Sakura at 3 speed, and not all that much has changed for them so this should stick. If Hinata had better feats then maybe this could be proven wrong but I don't think she's shown anything that impressive speedwise.

Her fight agaisnt Neji in part one showed that she wasn't very good with the gentle fist, we haven't seen any improvement.

Hinata can't touch her. She can easily analyze and dodge her attacks.

And according to the latest databook, Sakura has 26 and Hinata 21, 5 points. Sakura is faster, stronger and more intelligent than Hinata. And her stamina is better too.

The Hyuuga are one of the 4 noble clans of Konoha, and there's a reason for that. They're the strongest clan after the Uchiha.
Hinata is part of that famous clan, while Sakura is part of someone never-heard-of clan.

As far as I'm aware Hinata doesn't even HAVE Palm Rotation. Byakugan and Gentle Fist alone won't be enough to beat Sakura if she's not swift enough to actually land a hit.

And whom has Hinata hit that has great speed exactly? Sakura was able to dodge a good majority of Sasori's attacks, I hope you aren't suggesting Hinata is more of a threat than Sasori's puppet spamming and insane projectiles.

Lineage alone means nothing, otherwise Hanabi solos all of the non-clan characters by virtue of being a Hyuuga. Also, that implies that Kakashi Gaiden Obito could do the same, Obito eventually does get the hax of the Uchiha but in his early days he was no genius and sadly to say Hinata is in a very similar situation. Hinata isn't a Neji.
