However there has been many instances where Amaterasu seemed more of a very fast projectile than an instant attack. Like when Killer B was able to attempt to guard against Amaterasu before he hit him and Danzo too tried to guard himself with his arm.

Maybe it is proof that the current NB is more tolerant to ideas. ;)

True; but I am still under the notion that it's speed it equal to that of Kamui. Kamui is not instantaneous, but does require a start-up time in order to be exercised—which seems to be the equivalent of Amatersau's speed (but liken to change given the unknown properties of Eien no Mangekyō Sharingan

I guess we can never know for sure since Amaterasu has shown to contradict itself many times. ;)

Seems like.
And I know why they're more tolerant to the idea.
The context in which I put the thing, wasn't pleasing some people... :)

People aren't always easily pleased. At least you have the satisfaction of proving them all wrong. xd

:| seems to be happening a lot lately, people must be thinking you're a psychopath by now...

Isn't it?
I told people Amaterasu travels and they denied it although we have two cases, Itachi's Amaterasu following Sasuke's and when Sasuke's Amaterasu traveled to that Samurai guy when he fought with Raikage.

Umm... would you mind if i debate on this topic, well i am on opposing side :D ! Here it goes ~

you people are assuming a very fast ninja can escape amaterasu.
But its wrong, raikage dodging it was just because of sasuke's lack of experience with amaterasu ãnd MS.

Do you really think sasuke couldn't have bothered to move his head and concentrate his eyes on raikage ?

Remember what happened to sasuke when itachi was trying to amaterasu him, sasuke had to run such a long distance, while itachi just had to move his head, and sasuke survived only because itachi didn't wanted to kill him.

Sure i agree amaterasu is not as instant as ... say FTG. But it doesn't take 1 or 2 seconds ... it is like another similar MS tech like kamui,

Let me explain what i actually mean, we know , one sec have 100 nanosecs.
So lets say, a MS user starts to concentrate on an object and tries to amaterasu it.
So at nanosec-1 , he starts concentrating, At nanosec-60 he will cast it on the user.
So yeah it is not instant, but the time gap is so small that you can say it is near instant .

(kinda offtopic) And for especially sasuke timegap can be reduced to 50-nanosec and not to forget that he can manipulate amaterasu , its called blaze release. (it doesn't require concentration anymore, once amaterasu is summoned, it can be spread instantly , like we could see in sasuke + itachi vs kabuto )

Sure. :D

It was never said that the prowess with Amaterasu increases its speed and just allows it to be manipulated my the MS users left eye. Amaterasu has shown to contradict itself many times by showing us that its almost instant and then showing us that its a projectile.

I think that it forms instantly but is not fully materialized leaving a precious second or less to escape. This can be exploited by fast opponents like A.
