Dodged it, expected it, same thing. Would make sense he would be aware of an oncoming Sharingan attack as Sasuke had just announced "Ameterasu" before performing the attack, and i am sure the Raikage would have known what to expect.
At the same time, i have never seen Ameterasu come out of Sasukes eyes. It has always been where his eyes were targeting. i'd say he was targeting on the Raikage, hence the appearance of the black flame, but in that split second between Sasukes eyes focussing properly on the target and the activation of the Jutsu, thats when the Raikage dodged.
Youre right I havent either but from the Raikage fight its pretty clear thats how it works. From Sasukes point of view it is on the way to hit A, A dodges, amaterasu continues in its same direction until it hits a samurai.
(Sasuke)*amaterasu*------>. (A) *amaterasu*--------> (poor samurai behind A)
(A)-dodges
well that came out horrible but hopefuly you get the idea, if it just spawned on the target it wouldnt be moving in a linear motion therefore it wouldnt have hit the samurai when his target was A it would have just spawned where A was.
What we see on the page above is the flame formed right infront of the Raikage. and in the second slide, the Raikage has dodged it, the silhouette of where he was standing in the same place, and the Ameterasu in the same place meaning Sasuke was still looking to where he had been previously standing before dodging. the fact the flames are then larger in the place where the Raikage had been standing than they were before he had dodged it shows thats the point Sasuke had actually focussed.
Point being Raikage was to fast for Sasukes eyes to keep up with his speed during that particular attack.

What you explained is only one part of the real truth concerning Amaterasu. The thing concerning Amaterasu is that it's a close range jutsu. Amaterasu materialises instantly withing a certain range(something like between 0 and 5M), but after that it begins to travel(but still very fast) depending on where the user looks. That's why Bee(in Hachibi mode) was able to block it with his tentacles. He did see Amaterasu coming but wanted to block it because he had no knowledge on it, probably thinking it was like another katon jutsu. What Gaara blocked was not Amaterasu but Enton(manipulation of black flames)
It's considered instantaneous a close range because almost no one can dodge it since it moves so fast. The flames just head towards the users line of sight.
Anyone who is fast enough or far away enough has plenty chances of avoiding it.
In this thread I will be explaining what I mean when I say Amaterasu is not instant. Please read or you won't understand what I mean.
The link between Ametarasu and Line of sight
It has been shown repeatedly that these Black flames and the way they are targeted relies greatly on the line of sight of the user. This was shown when the Amaterasu was used on A at the Kage Summit . The flames hadn't fully materialized on him but because of his insane speed he was still able to dodge it. And in the next page it shows that Amaterasu hit the next thing in Sasuke's direct line of sight which was the Samurai. This indicates that if anything was to obstruct an MS users vision even if the opponent has already been targeted and locked on with Amaterasu, it would hit the obstructing object or person since it is in his immediate line of sight.

Lookee here ^^^
Another example of this is when Gaara blocked Sasuke's sight with his sand so instead of hitting him the black flames hit his sand.
Amaterasu needs to be fully stabilized before its effects happen which may take as little as a second before it fully stabilizes. Amaterasu may appear instantly but its effects don't so it doesn't start burning instantly but shortly after.
You might say why would it need to "stabilize" but its not the first Mangekyou Sharingan jutsu to do this. This is shown when Madara first activated Perfect Susanoo. Look here:
It just looks like a powerful mass of chakra:

And then after Madara stabilizes it and it takes a more clear form and structure and looks like a samurai. xd

Amaterasu has already partially formed on A but because it hadn't fully stabilized someone with incredible speed like A was able to dodge it so it continued on to the next object in its line of sight, the Samurai.
So what do you think ?
Do you agree that Amaterasu may appear instantly but it takes a second or two to completely form and stabilize in which a fast opponent could exploit.
I haven't seen a thread glorifying the Uchiha's, so much stuff is false you stated in this thread, but I have no patients to correct you.
No you just suck at debating, theirs a ton of things you can say for Zabuza, but you aren't usin them. I won't tell you ofcourse, maybe you should re read over his fights.

Thats mainly because the scenario is capture only. Zabuza is mainly a quick-kill type of fighter.
Zabuza is one of the worst people who I could have ended up with. You have a ninja with lots of feats, unlike Zabuza, but only you keep repeating is that Yamato's mokuton can catch Zabuza.
Whats there to re-read when he has shown practically the same things in all 3 of his fights with Kakashi ?

It's incredibly fast, it would seem like instant to some..
And please don't mistake amaterasu with blaze release .. the thing he did to gaara was take an already existing flame off the ground and throw it on him... it's much much slower
The thing he did on Raikage A is Amaterasu
or here on danzo

Note danzo is still mid air same spot, it's that fast...
