1.Itachi's Amateresu was dodged by Sasuke who didn't knew about it, Jiraya has seen it and did some research on it, so it is dodgeble, cause unlike Sasuke's Blaze Release it is slower and intelligent ninja's can dodge it(Sasuke did it and Jiraya knows about it).
2.Jiraya will not fall for Genjutsu he's no kid, nor is he arrogant like Oro(when he becomes serious,......), because like Kabuto, he and all of leaf village knows about Itachi's Genjutsu now.EVRYBODY KNOWS NOT TO LOOK HIM IN THE EYE(Kakashi knew it)
3.His susanoo attacks are dodgeable and those who say otherwise are fanboys,Remember that Jiraya's Rasengan is know to have broken down mountains,then why can't Jiraya quickly go to the back Susanoo and spam it avoiding the shield and sword. A Logical Method.
4.His Toad Gourd Summon and crusshing toad stomach is the most strongest summon i have seen, and if not for capturing itachi it can be used to immobilise Susanoo. Also the Jutsu Jiray used on the first encounter of Itachi and Kisame is quite useful.
5. Jiraya will last long. Itachi uses Susanoo in the worst of cases and when he uses it, it harms him to such extent that moving becomes difficulty for him. Also Amateresu can be spammed by him only 3-4 times and it depletes his chakra greatly.
6. Once Jiraya is in SM Itachi will face the greatest threat he has ever seen. Jiraya's Sound Genjutsu(Maa and Paa) is a difficult obstacle for Itachi to manage.
7. Itachi is smarter so he may use his creativity.
Kishi has always tried to make us realise that J-man is stronger than Itachi, but we always ignore it, is it our ignorance or what. I respect Itach greatly but he is not on par with Sannins. Oro fell for a genjutsu, because he has alway been ignorant and from then never went close to Itachi as he is really afraid to die.Oro is not Gutsy like Jiraya. Sasuke himself admitted that he would have not defeated Oro if he was healthy, maybe Oro would be a little stronger than him,and Sasuke was able to take Itachi one on one, although Itachi proved to be a little stronger. Again in the fight between Sasuke and Itachi, oro used his big summon and was careless to get caught by Itachi's Totsuka blade(because once the blade is in, it is game over). This proves what i have been saying Oro is a little arrogant that causes him to lose.
