Actually dude if you look at the picture it clearly points out that the part in the top Left is Hinata's elbow; so if Hinata's elbow is situated Horizontally and her purple vest is situated vertically then the Blade broken off would have to be in her Stomach, meaning that it would be EXTREMELY difficult to miss a vital organ if it's in her stomach. :headband:

i dont wanna ruin anyones hopes and dreams but maybe the pic thats in color means that Hinata did get stabbed but this picture is after it happened. the pic shows once pein pulled it out of her and its dripping blood. thats what he ment by when he said he saw his parents get killed infront of him and naruto is seen her get killed infront of him. so he wants him to feel pain like he did. hopefully she lives tho.

I want to believe she's alive but I'm 50-50 for it.

Now, Naruto can't actually see if she has been stabbed, he can only see the pile of rocks in front of his eyes, so Pain could have been faking it.

For which reason? Maybe he needs her half alive to keep her body in store for a replacement? A Hyuga would be a good body to have.


I have to admit that the picture could also be showing the blade covered by Hinata's clothes, which would have happened in case the blade has passed through her body.

Oh no, if that's the size of the blade coming out from Pain's sleeve, then the blade has passed through Hinata.

In last manga, we just see the tip of the blade covered by a cloth... presumably Hinata's jacket.

I'm skeptical. I think that that's Pein's sleeve in the picture. He seems to have a lot of those stashed up there and he may be...Sheathing it? Also All the rods he stuck in Naruto he left in him so it can't be his blood. And he used the one he stabbed Pa frog with to nail Naruto's hands down.

it shows pein breaking his rod but it doesnt show him ever throwing it on the ground somewhere does it? now in this part he seems to have had it ready after he broke off from the one on naruto because it never showed him throwing it away. so it still could be naruto ones rod...maybe

Am I the only one who sees the uncolored panel as the tip of Pein's blade? He stabbed her and we saw the blade dripping with blood after he took it out. Seriously, this guy seems very confused as what has been described as hinata's elbow doesn't look like an elbow... and the end of Pein's blade looks like that. It is not in the ground in that panel.

I'm not saying Hinata is dead, or that we know for sure she was stabbed or not. Just saying the coloring of that panel is likely wrong.

I saw the page 13 of this manga.... I am not sure. It kind of showed some piece sticking out of Hinata's shoulder . Maybe Pain hit her with chakra blade in shoulder and was actually going to repeat the process when naruto cried out.

shoulder stabbing may not be risky.. but the pic is unclear. Probably it was the second stab which pain hold a bit...

Great observation, but I'm Still not convinced; This is all basically based on if the colored pic is right; the Pic is Fan Colored, Its not 100% accurate; It could be that the purple coloring could be miss colored; and a folks I hate to brake it to you all but, If the picture is colored right, look at where the blade is stuck in, a Purple Vest!!!! Thats what Hinata wears right? now correct me if I'm wrong but The Akatsuki wear Black robes right? so if its stuck in a purple vest and Pain broke off the rest of the blade then wont that mean that he in fact did stab Hinata? :headband:

TC, You cant deny that the vest colored in the right of the picture is Purple; Now from what I can remember, Naruto doesnt wear a purple, Pain Doesnt wear purple; the only person who wears a purple anything is Hinata; Now the blade is Clearly coming out of the purple vest with blood gushing out of the same area. :naruto:

Also, the picture clearly points out that It's Hinata's elbow in the Top left; Like I said before, if her elbow is clearly Horizontally shown and her Vest is Clearly show vertically shown, then that means that Hinata was stabbed in the Stomach, and it is extremely hard to miss someones vital organ; 1) if they're not moving and 2) if the get stabbed in the stomach. :headband:

Its important because of where the blade is sticking out from in the colored pic; If the pain is sticking out of somethng purple(which it looks like to me) it would be Hinata vest meaning she was stabbed; if it is sticking out of something black, then it would be sticking out of Pains robes, which would mean that she wasn't stabbed. :headband:

Pein's cloak is colored that way to seperate the blade from the cloth. Still it is a fan who colored it so he probably got more than just the colors of Pein's cloak wrong...
