it's also strange that naruto exploded in anger instantly to 4tails first..
i mean where we see no sign of the real naruto just the miniature kyuubi form..
against orochimaru everything started slowly.. because orochimaru was talking about sasuke and naruto cares a lot of sasuke...

but this time hinata ''died'' in front of him and he instantly blasted to 4 tails...
there is something fishy about this...
i think naruto knew this anger would get him to use kyuubi's powers so he did it on purpose and didn't stopped himself..
meaning he knew he could handle the kyuubi this time...

I seriously doubt that it is Genjutsu. From what I can remember Pain killed Pa Frog before he and Ma Frog could get their Genjutsu off. Unless he was already in the Genjutsu at that time... Which personally I wouldn't approve of... having 3 weeks worth of fighting as Genjutsu? no ty.

I also doubt that it would be Ma Frog stepping in, just because of the fact that it shows Hinata's arm (which at first I had thought to be a rock) across the top of the bottom right hand panel of

, and the blood is coming from below what appears to be one of her breasts. (You can faintly see the rounded outline in the bottom right of the panel) Which leads me to assume it's either a Heart-shot, or through the shoulder. I Hope it was through the shoulder, Hinata is the only female character I like in the manga...

But if she dies, I'm sure kishi will have had a good reason for doing so. (If he doesn't, I'm probably going to stop reading the manga for a while. If not indefinitely.)

Well, anything could happen. But the chance of genjutsu by the toads is unlikely because everything that happened didn't seem toward the well being of the good side. Remember a few chapters back, it showed God Pain's eyes behind Naruto. That could have been the beginning of the genjutsu but it couldn't have lasted this long. So genjutsu could been the case but not likely.
I think Kishi found the perfect opportunity for Hinata to confess because Hinata didn't have a choice but to confess due to the fact that she might not see Naruto again. I mean, if I were stuck in a situation like that I would do the same thing because it's like your last wish, right? But I think Kishi did this to settle the arguments among the fans as to who should be with Naruto. That's my thoughts on this. Peace.

Did anyone notice that Hinata might have not been killed? If you look at page 13, you see Hinata got blown back. Given that Pein is standing where he was, he could have lowered his hand in a pull-back, lower motion; revealing the blade under his sleeve to Naruto.

Plus if you look at Pein compared to the rubble, it seems that Pein is away from the rubble, indicating he isn't near Hinata.

This could support Roclee's theory of Ma toad being killed. Maybe she decided to work alongside Hinata and strike Pain.

I think you got it. When Pain was about to stab Hinata at the same time Nartuo screams. Pain looks in the in the direction of Naruto and stabs her. And who is the best candidate to take the stab and why? Ma toad. Ma just lost her beloved Pa and would sacrifice herself for Naruto. You know the empathy thing. Ma toad has black cape on and on page 14 you see the blade lifted a bit and you see the object that was stabbed lifted a bit also. Pain was talking shit the whole time while this was happening and he might not notice because Naruto was going KB. Even then, I think the blade goes thru Ma toad but I think it saved Hinata by making the stab not so deep. I know sounds far fetched..

I think kishi is just wanting us to believe that Kakashi an Hinata are dead just like in the Save sasuke arc when we thought Neji chouji an Kiba were dead but if u really is going to kill off these charathers i guess i need to buy a plane ticket...

I don't think he cares if he stabbed her through the breast. But, I don't think he did it on purpose, either. He stabbed her through the back it looks like, and in doing so, how would he not stab one of her breasts? They take up the majority of her upper-body. (the outline is a white line amongst what looks to be blood, dividing her chest from the blood on the rock)

Dude, I thing you got some info there. When Pain push Hinata, they were separated by at least 6 feet. So how could Pain stab her without walking to her?

Good point, but who else would he have stabbed? If you look at the panel where he pushes her, there's nobody else inbetween him and her, or anywhere around him. So, unless he stabbed himself in the leg, I think it's safe to say it just skipped him walking over to her.

It would be so cool if it's Naruto's clone who took the stab. Because it takes a second for the clone to release and the real Naruto don't get the info until release.

I thought about that as well until I saw her arm across the top of the panel.

I think I see the arm/elbow too but if that is the case then Pain didn't stab vertical but instead at an angle away from her body and toward her left breast.
