My prediction would have to be that naruto fights pein for a short time in the kyuubi state. Most likely, yamato will not be strong enough to surpress 6 tails, so he will utterly fail. The town is on the move, they're looking for nagato. Naruto will come to sense and try to get a hold of himself, disposing of the kyuubi's rage. While severly beaten by the Kyuubi form, Pein is weak and trying to get ready for the next attack. Both pein weak from the power of kyuubi, and naruto for using the power, they will be pretty much matched. Naruto will take advantage of pein's condition and use the scroll that was still lieing out and bring forth the final clone. with the clone, he will become sage mode again. sakura also shows up to scene trying to get hinata and yamato out. naruto will hold pein off, but with pein's ability, even sage mode wont last long. it appear to be the final showdown but nagato's location has been discovered. forced to leave, he abandons the machine he was in, which is the machine transmitting chakra. with no chakra being transmitted, pein's body will colapse in front of naruto, leaving him utterly speachless.

yea good stuff goin down in naruto.....
naruto has came along way, but i still think he has sum more to go....
not really bad at all.... could see it happenin....
but then we all know kishi will throw sumthin in their extra....
hes the best at messin wit ppls for sure thought...

I agree with you on both the Character and the Manga; Naruto still has to learn how to control the Kyuubi and has to mature a little bit more; as for the manga, its not even close to being over; what to many plot holes left that need to be filled. :headband:

Any who... on to my prediction and analysis of the chapter.
Personally, I don't think that Hinata is dead. I noticed a few things that I think Kishi put in to suggest that she isn’t. (I can’t post links yet, so I’ll just tell page #/panel)
#1 (And probably most obvious): Hinata finally confesses her love for Naruto, and I don't think that Kishi is so heartless to killer off within a few pages of her doing so.
#2: Page 14 panel 3 (middle left): I believe that kishi blocked her from view with the debris from Shinra Tensei so we have no idea where Pain actually stabbed her. For all we know, Pain stabbed her in the hands like he did Naruto, and she's just unconscious. It isn’t like with Kakashi where we KNOW he was shot through the head with a nail. (Or through the Sharingan eye) Or pa frog was stabbed through the chest. (More like through entire torso, he's so small)
#3: And finally the overall feel final pages. I believe that pain just wanted Naruto to think that Hinata was dead to finally get him to show the Kyuubi, and Hinata is just unconscious.
As for my prediction to the next chapter, I have a few possibilities, each more unlikely than the last.
1) Naruto fights with the kyuubi and gains control, then using the extendo-arm thing he used against Orochimaru, picks up Hinata and moves her over to Tsunade and Sakura. Then he continues to fight/annihilate pain.
2) Team Gai arrives, Neji sees that Hinata is severely wounded and on the brink of death, and he reveals that the mark on his forehead serves another purpose, namely that he can sacrifice himself to save a member of the main branch family. ( I know I'm going to get some hate replies from Neji lovers from this one, but it's just a prediction)
3) Pain walks towards QB Naruto, turning his back on Hinata, she slowly gets to her feet and does a 64 palm strike on god realm. Naruto sees that Hinata is still alive, senses that the kyuubi is going to go on an all out rampage in pain/Hinata's general direction, and forces himself to stop (by either learning to control the Kyuubi's chakra, or plain suppressing it with willpower.) so that he doesn't harm Hinata.
Sorry for such a long post, I just couldn't help myself after such an amazing chapter :3

I thought this chapter was really good
I never thought Hinata would be the one to step into the battle and confess to Naruto.
But I really like the look of the six tails
I had a random thought
You know how Naruto can fight with Gamabunta and they can combine there attacks together.
Well I thought it would be cool if the Fox demon (Kyuubi) was unleashed and Naruto was able to control it and they would combined there attacks.
Just a fun thought lol

1. kakashi was shot, he just over extent his used of his ms
and we all know when you over use a jutsu to the point of chakra completion it could result in death
2. hinata couldn't be stabbed in the hand or anything due to the part that where pein stabbed "someone" was black
3. this is my own prediction, gai's team was pretty close and even some of konoha's ninjas were close to the battle area
so someone with usually dark colored clothes in the anime was willing to put their life on the line to save hinata and was stabbed in the process
i say that because the manga is black and white which means if something has a light color in the anime it would most likely be white in the manga and if it is dark color in the anime it would be black in the manga

Still unsure. We probably won't know for sure until the fight is over.
Good point, I had completely overlooked the panel where it showed the blood on the rock.
If you look carefully enough you'll see that where the blood is coming from is the black part of her outfit (chest/abdomen area). and across the top of the panel is what I first thought to just be another rock, but upon further inspection it looks like it's her left arm. So I think the most we can hope for is that she got stabbed through the shoulder. But, it could very well have been a heart shot. T_T

yea no doubt man.... i jus hope kishi clears up ova half the speculation....
and hopefully he clears up alot of things i think should be right..lol...
but yea naruto needs more maturity... and i personally think hand to hand combat...
and yea we still have a while b4 the manga is ova...
or someone else
in the manga it is only black and white
white is for light colors and black is for dark color that would usually be in the anime
so it is possible rock lee or gai or even a someone already in konoha jump in to save her

Wecome tu the forum! I don't like to think she's dead but she's nearer that than to life. The fact that Hinata has lost a lot of focus does not actually mean anything, anyway. You know, Sai was not important until Kishi gave him focus, he can just give focus to Hinata again if he wants to. With so many characters and having to focus more on Naruto's traning, there's not much ground for all of them to come in.Hiya everyone, I'm new here. I've been reading the predictions you guys and girls have and I love the opinion sharing/discussions. So I desided I wanted to join in on the fun.
In my opinion I think that Hinata is dead, that's what I think. The only problem I have with this, is it seems like everyones dieing now. Not everyone obviously just a lot of characters. I am sightly more of a Naruto/Sakura fan than a Naruto/Hinata fan, but I agree with Naruto1217, in part 2 of Naruto, Hinata lost a lot of focus, I just can't see her being such a big character in the future. And if she does surive imagine how awkward it's going to be between Naruto/Hinata. I'm sure that Hinata saving Naruto was a spur of the monent thing, and she confessed to him because she knew things would go for the worst for her. So even if she did surive, she would probably in my opinion be shy around him. Just how he'd know her feelings.
And I'm really interested to see how much more power Naruto has gotten now that he's in 6-tailed. Extremely excited for next week now!!

Ah, I agree that kyubii is not a friend. but he does not dislike Naruto. Point is he's not a human, he's a demon and is very sarcastic. He respects Naruto in his particular way, he will never say "how strong you are", "you deserve to be the Hokage". He will never show it. He knows Naruto was able to suppress him from coming out every now and then, and mainly, that he was able to live having him inside his body. Kyubii does not show what he thinks by been sarcastic just in the way Sasuke does not show feelings by playing the cool guy.
And he will call him useless just in the same way Sasuke used to insult him... when he was pissed off that Naruto had surpassed him.

Hinata has been the dream of several guys/girls for 6 years, it's not that they just began reading the manga. Just in the same way meeting Sasuke has been there for almost 5 years, and when they meet... he wants to stab Naruto.
Please understand, it's just a manga... but if you have followed the story for that long, it's like been a fan of your soccer team.

You are right, Hinata represents the traditional Asain character. But I wonder if she will survive. And about Naruto falling in love, we're yet to see. There's a chance that Naruto has still a boy crush with Sakura just from being used to it.

This has already been discussed in the thread, even by me.
Answer: they are Anbus so there's a chance they are at Danzou's Root meeting - though acting as the Hokage's spies.
