...Naruto's belief's have been challenged by Pein. He didn't even know what to say when Pein asked him for a solution to war. Naruto seemed to be one of the main characters that believed Konoha could do no wrong. Ever since Shippuden he has slowly began to realize that this isn't true, but not fully. This event will hopefully cause Naruto to wake up and become mature. What do you guys think?

naruto to me.. is kinda a person who just goes with the flow...
no thought is really taken into consideration...
like if he sees things one way and you tell him another way that works for u...
its kinda like... huh.. or he will say somethin else to counter your thoughts...
in shorts... naruto really didnt have the answer... cuz he never thought about it...
its kinda like its not his problem to think about it....

Like u said Naruto was very close minded if we could say. He was only seeing things from his own point of view and always influence people into seeing life and realtionship in a one dimensional kind of way. Nagato is way more complex. He is able to perfectly anticipate the humain reaction to all his flaw. In other word, he can understand not only the pain he suffer, but the pain other suffer, and knowing the consequence of is action he still think for the greater good.
I get what you are saying, but if you look at other characters his age like Sasuke, Gaara Shikamaru, Temari....I mean living in a land like they have and growing up the way Naruto does which in contrast to the way we live at sixteen is drastically different. They are adolescence who are growing up in the midst of fighting and war which would probably force one to grow up and mature...

Pein's views are those of a radicalist. He's bending the truth and showing things to Naruto from his perspective only.

IMO, Pain is correct when he says that they both have suffered pain, in different ways.
Pain means well, but the way he goes about what he's doing doesn't justify it for me just yet....

alright i will give you shikamaru and temari, they are both very intelligent, sasuke on the other hand was motivated by one thing only, revenge, his only goal was to kill itachi and it didnt matter wat the cost to his life was as long as he did it, and gaara is the way he is now because of naruto's way of thinking, he has basically come to believe what naruto believes
Don't know why you're asking me this, but I actually believe that there isn't/ or ever will be any such thing as true (global) peace in the the world we live in now....but by doing what one can to achieve personal peace is all one can do....
I never said that Pein's view was right.....but what Pein said kind've made Naruto view the world through someone elses shoes......through the shoes of Pein...lol.

I don't see that his belief will change. All he thought on the matter up to now is that he would find a way to make peace, not that he had already found it. He has just been asked the question when he has not yet decided on a solution for violence in the world.
