1- it was kakashi who attacked rin, although there can be a slight possibility that it was a zetsu scene to shake up obito. As to zetsu not having feelings that is false. In ch 603 the swirly zetsu told obito that they are artificially made humans with feelings.
2- Kakashi did not kill rin. If u recal what obito said to kakashi when his mask broke. It was "because you let rin die" not " you killed rin".
3- kakashi and rin were fighting mist ninjas according to intel from zetsu. When obito entered the battle feild he was hit with something he thought was rain, which he claimed it was not, and was interupted when finishing his last thought. So the battle feild is covered with "something"
4- what looks to me on the last page is a shocked rin and a shocked kakashi. Who is not to say rin and kakashi were on the battle feild seperated in the hidden mist tech, kakshi running wild with his NEWLY invented jutsu, chidory, taking down the enemy. On one occation rin pops in on the wrong time and gets hit. *note* kakashi has great intel on the hidden mist tech when he and team 7 fought zabuza. stating that the best thing to do is to stay together to avoid casualties. This data he could have gotten from exp with rin and the hidden mist incedent we just saw in ch 604.*

Well Kakashi said Obito"r u going to blame me fr that". This indirectly means he was the real Kakashi there. Bt i thnk even though he might have killed Rin, it must have been by accident or he was cntroled cause Kakashi could never do such a thng.

Kakashi didnt kill rin.
i dont think kakshi killed rin, Here are my reasons to believe that.
First of all, there's no way that Kakashi would've broke his promise to Obito, and kill Rin just to obtain MS. I think that Kakashi has been gone through a lot, and suffered greatly after Obito's death, for which he blamed himself.
Second, when Kakashi died during Pain invasion arc, he said 'I couldn't protect Rin' He didn't say 'I killed Rin' (But you cannot relay on that info though)
Third, I don't believe that Zetsu was so concerned about Kakashi and Rin being attacked. Why such an interest suddenly? Something fishy going on here. To make Obito joining Madara for good, they have to make him believe that he was betrayed by his best friend, and killed the girl he promised to protect.
That's just my thought guys, maybe it's just me because I kind of don't want to believe that Kakashi did kill Rin. What I think, it was all Madara's plan to bring Obito to his side. The mist ninja's are probably Zetsu's clones, and the one who killed Rin is also Zetu's clone.

My theory on how kakashi got rin killed by his sharingan.
1. kakashi sharingan originally belong to obito
2. kakashi didnt develop his sharingan yet, maybe didnt get use to it yet, and maybe didnt aware of the side effect
3. obito's sharingan is obviously having the same frequency with his old eyes of kakashi
4. obito activates his sharingan having been alerted by white zetsu that his frens was in danger, accidentally activates too his old sharingan of kakashi
5. kakashi in confusion, and BAMMMM rin died
conclusion :- obito's fault and to make this story goes on, kakashi was the one to blame

2 - He most likely had some reason for doing it. He is not a bad guy.
3 - Of course he didn't say "I killed Rin" because that would ruin this week's chapter.
