maybe not but i discarded him after listening to Section.80 i forced myself to listen to the whole album...and was really disapointed :/ and some of his other big songs that have been released i haven't liked at all
Kendrick Lamar can be a love hate thing, one of my closest friends who shares nearly the exact same taste in music as me hated Section 80, while I would say it is one of my top five favourite albums of all time.

I concur, swimming pools & Recipe was a letdown, there were a good 3-4 songs on S80 that I listen to daily
I think section 80 was incredible, best album of 2011 imo and I liked the Recipe and Swimming Pools, especially The Recipe because of the relaxed summer feel to it, the rest of his stuff will undoubtedly be better, everyone needs a feew radio singles in this day and age.

The beat saves Recipe, but Dre's verse seemed like Ken wrote it IMO U_U. Just the way he flows is kinda similar and iffy to me. i cant stand when underground artists go mainstream and they come out with that first radio hit. i.e Wild Boy
