Im going to be dealing with a few things in this post, but I'll mainly be countering Ssanimo's argument. You asked for it, so here I go.of 1st- sharingan cannot see the difference between a clone and read deal....reasons :
a)ino he somewhat said he could......but he's also very arrogant
b)note sasukes impression when he hits naruto and his string of clones with 'dragon fire jutsu?' i believe....(right after naruto slams him into mountain) at VotE fight.....he is surprised/scared that the real naruto was the one holding onto his legs......its as tho sasuke didnt really mean to hit naruto himself with that jutsu.......naruto is surprised as well....sasuke then says "IT'S TOO LATE NA-RU-TO" and fight gets serious from there
c) he states that he's sees chakra as a different color during fight with dedeira ( when clay man uses his "millions of miniscule, invisible c4 bombs jutsu") sasuke describes it and/or they show a panel of it looking like a cloud or fog
d) the hardest evidence is saved for last........itachi vs team kakashi!!!! has everyone forgot?!?!? itachi tries to perform tsukuyomi(or regular genjutsu that is supposed to look like tsukuyomi....as his mangekyo wasn't activated) on kakashi's clone!!!!!! he doesn't realise it's a clone till its too late!!!!!!! and he's lookin right at him for like 5 min!!!!
with all that said kakashi himself states that "byakugan is the strongest for sheer power of insight" exactly what we are talking about........byakugan couldn't tell cuz naruto distibuted chakra evenly amongst the clones.........with that said.....sharingan has NO chance at seeing through clones
prove me wrong if u can.....but this one is pretty solid folks
quik edit~ also with all those facts i believe sharingan can see chakra(as a blurr kinda) and can somewhat gauge the amount of chakra........
A) Yes, Sauske is arrogant. I agree. This proves and disproves nothing. This could be used for either side of the argument.
B) I could just as easily say that Sauske was probarbly more surprised the Naruto hadn't been blown away by such an impressive jutsu. I really don't think Sauske was expecting Naruto to pop out and cling to his foot.
Also, not that it matters a whole lot for the argument, but was Sauske using Sharingan at that point?
C) You're using this fight with complete disregard to what actually happened. I used this fight as evidence FOR sharingan seeing through Clones. The problem here is that Itachi wasn't actually fighting Kakashi, it was a suped-up-dopplegangar technique. When Kakashi defeated Itachi during this fight I was revealed it was somebody else entirely. Remember, Kakashi as SURPRISED that Itachi didn't see through his clone technique. Reread the fight.
D) You are misinterpriting the Byakugans powers. It can see the flow of chakra in a body, this is needed for the Heavenly Strike taijutst the Hyuuga clan are masters of. The sharingan can see CHAKRA itself, as evidenced by Sauske seeing Deidaras C4 landmines. Sure, Neji might have been able to see them as well, but not because of the chakra.
As for Itachi's disease: I do not think the disease is a product of the Magekenyo Sharingan. We would see Kakashi coming down with it, maybe even Madara.
I also don't think Sauske has the disease, I think he is simply going blind. If he does have the disease its because itachi GAVE it to him, along with Amaterasu. Its obviously not contageous otherwise Kisame would for sure have it.
Everyone "thinks" the statue was summond for the Garaaa seal because it was. Pein WAS ther, and he summoned the statue, he was just in "ethereal" form. There is no evidence suggesting that Pein summoned the statue in, ethereal form or not, for the sealing of Killr Bee.
I think yourewrong about Madara wanting Sauskes eyes for his own. Something doesn't seem right.
As for Madara only having one eye, I have a theory. Madaras brother willingly gave Madara one of his eyes. After Madara tasted the power of the Eternal Magekenyo Sharingan he stole his brothers other eye. The eye that he stole degenerated into blindness _nd that's why we only see him using the one. This could explain why Kakashi is not, to our knowledge, going blind: Because Obito gifted it to him.
I still say my theory is correct: Akatsuki is going to divide the Bijuu amongst its members. Saske wasn't going to steal it, he thinks he got in because he captured the eight tails (he thinks he did at least) and that as a reward they will infuse him with the eight tails when ALL the Bijuu are sealed.
He says it doesn't matter because he can destroy Konoha even without the aid of a Bijuu, or so he thinks.
