That manga page states Orochimaru had a perfect Edo Tensei thus the 1st and 2nd are able to use their abilities. It even says on that page even though the person follows all of the summoners orders, it can use all of his original abilities.

Just because Kishi added more abilities to Hashirama and Tobirama later on in the series, does not disregard Hiruzens battle with them. According to the information we have on edo tensei, we have seen that even if they are mindless drones they can use their full powers.

Nagato is an example.
That ninja who if you block his kunai your body becomes magnetic.
Zabuza and Haku.
Seven swordsmen.
The list can go on and on.

Please do show me where Flower Tree world or Mokuton Kage Bunshin spam was used during that fight. Orochimaru perfected the technique; that doesn't mean Shodai and Nidaime were at full power. Orochimaru had to suppress their personalities because they had an emotional attachment to Hiruzen. Orochimaru did not let them use their big hitters because he was toying with Sandaime Hokage :/ Hashirama or Tobirama acting autonomously with their own fighting style > someone controlling them.

Where's proof he was dragging the fight out? The only time the kages toyed with hiruzen was when he was caught in the genjutsu. Every other time hiruzen countered them like a boss.

Kabuto is the one who perfected the edo.The first and second still retained their consciousness.Their powers were all there but Hiruzen used the repaer death seal so how strong they were was moot at that point.
Hiruzen was powerful he was trained by both of the senju brothers.
But he was not stronger.Kabuto said he was the strongest of his generation
That does not include either previous kage.Just pointing that out
before all the Hiruzen trolls come out of hiding
