Horrible grammar dude, but i agree with you. People use his Kage staus or his fight with Tobi to underrate Itachi. I won't say he can't equal or surpass Itachi, because like you said right now. We don't have enough feats from him. He also has space time barrier to remind you. The genjutsu part is the one that will give him trouble. Itachi literally turns to crows when someone hits him. I wouldn't be surprised by a first hit. He could just turn into crows. He also has Susanoo, Amaterasu, and Izanami. Itachi is way too much for Minato in a single's fight.

Itachi maybe my favorite character yet I don't see him totally defeating Minato...... Yea Itachi only reason to have low stamina cuz he had a disease due to the over use of his MS.....but I do see it being a pretty epic ****in fight....Jayria even stated that the 4th died before his prime so his full potiental wasnt reached .... He didn't fully developed the Rasagan....yet HE ****ed up Tobi/Obito.... People underestimate the Resagan it destroys u on a molecularevel....basically nothing is left. We still don't know if Minato mastered Sage mode even tho he had a contract with the toads. And before u mention Kabutomaru, Minato is not even that cocky to get tricked into Izanami.... And he knew many seals due to being married to Kushina and could mastered a lot of those Uzamaki seals....remember Reaper Death Seal Itachi can't run from that..... Now on to Itachi...."My Favorite Character" Itachi was a Uchica prodigy.....his kind came only once in a generation. He was a master of the Sharigun at the age of 7. He had to the gift to predict an entire fight amongst himself and his opponent....he knew so much so early. He was on Kage status at a young age ..... We never knew whag he was fully cappble of beacuse he and Minato were underdeveloped characters. And even when fighting Kabuto he didn't have killer intent... So at can't judge this at all....but i think it would end in a draw .... Or Itachi would barley win ....

i think it will be equal because they use theyre brain verry well in the fight.

Lol You as well have no proof minato can beat a uchiha. Over estimate the only person being over estimated here is Minato. What alot of yall don't seem to realize is Kage mode doesn't = Unstoppable. Look at Danzo ( Kage level) Got stomped by an already weakened sasuke, or Naruto stomped most everyone even kages in the war and those were just clones. So using kage as an excuse is invalid

You've only countered one thing I said by saying something totally irrelevant. Danzo WAS kage level in his prime, sasuke just beat an old man with a cane, you proud of that? Like I said sasuke got his ass when facing someone his age(bee). Can you counter anything else I said? I didn't think so... This thread has been made countless times, and it never has a real winner.....

You seem to think that susanoo is indestructible, which in fact Is wrong
It has no defense underneath, and a blind side in the back (yata mirror)

Minato has the ability to send FTG seals anywhere, he slides it underneath and attaches it to itachi, instant FTG rasengan, itachi goes down.

Amaterasu can easily be avoided, Minato has instantaneous reflexes and FTG

Tsukoyomi is always tricky, but its a genjutsu, meaning it requires chakra... Minato is a SENSOR, so it is safe to assume he can catch itachi prepping his tsukoyomi..

I sided with Minato, because you are obviously all over itachi... Match can go either way really, we can say they are equal, and this is because we know very little about Minato and a lot about itachi

Can't hit what you can't see...can't make eye contact if you can't see me...and the best defense in my opinion is to not be there(DODGE IT) and honestly I'm not saying that's all he has I'm just saying that's all he needs

And that's just keeping it simple and using something I know he has and outlasting Itachi until he can't muster any chakra to do anything and I then finish him with a rasengan or kick to the balls..oh what the hell a rasengan to the balls and then i piss all over his grave...THE END

Ill be honest I love both characters but I honestly dont know what I would do if i were Itachi...I mean Minato can go anywhere that he has a kunai or marking in an instant( meaning he cant be hit by Itachi...for those of you slower than some)

Itachi and Minato are both great shinobis but really who was hokage at the time.. I mean if Itachi was so amazing and I had political power at konoha i would say move over 4th and make some room...but that didn't happen obviously xd

You forget also something important. Itachi alive doesn't have infinite stamina(it's not Edo Itachi). Using Susanoo all the time wasn't his fighting style exactly for this reason. Can you tell me how much time he even used MS techniques in his fights? Not even to mention Susanoo. Has he used it against Kakashi, against Orochimaru? He only used it against Sasuke and we saw what happened after, when the main advantage Minato has is that his techniques doesn't take a lot chakra, so he can spam them without thinking too much

itachi never had ems like sasuke and madara,thats why his stamina was always low

Honestly the amount of people on here that say minato>itachi are crazy, gow can they say that when minato has hardly shown feats other than gamabunta a few seals and ftg and a rasegan?

Gamabunta? Is a huge amaterasu target.
Tell me how minato gets pass tysukuyomi? He keeps ftg'ing? It would be abaurb to think minato would ftg for every second of the fight.

What in minatos arsonal will get pass a yata mirror and sussano? Rasegan?

Then theirs amaterasu, first the only way to dodge it is to escape sight, minato as far as we are aware of has no knowledge on amaterasu or tysukuyomi.

fanboys will say he will tag itachi before he puts up sussano, im not sayingbhe cant but at the same time it would be no easy task

in terms of reaction speed minatp and itachi are equal, minato reacted to a full speed raiton armor attack up front against raikage.

Itachi on the other hand was able to react to a full power lightning style KIRIN from sasuke by activating his sussano.

Then people would say minato was a kage/hokage he wouldnt easy to a genjutsu, thay sounds cute but minato has shown no feata in braking or having genjutsu not to mention orochimaru got owned and he was kage lvl

When the fight starts and their in eye contact range itachi instantly uses a tysukuyomi and id its over you cant disagree.

Minato starts ftg'ing itachi pulls up sussano

i am simply going off feats here, if your going by feats itachi wrecks minato that simple,. If minato were to show more feats id change my mind but until then itachi wrecks him.


And please dont say minato will know not to look in a eyes of a sharigan. User when he was basically making eye contact with fken tobi the whole time!!!



And one more thing bee was able to react with a kunai when minato was using ftg., that should say something.

Minato has barly been seen in the managa (1-3) and yet he was able too:

1) Save Konoha from the nine tailed
2) Teleport a TBB
3) Save his son naruto (without using ftg)
4) Saved (sort of) his wife
5) Formed a barrier to contain the Nine tailed.
6) Seal the nine tailed into naruto
7) Injure the TOBI, who is now fighting BM naruto, Kakashi, Gai, Killa bee (and it took minato a page of a chapter to figure out how too and injure him)


What we know from this character:
1) Analist
2) Tactition
3) Barve
4) Intellegent
5) Kind

Also he was able to dodge A's full speed punch 2cm away.

His jutsu/feats:
1) Space Time Barrier
2) FTG
3) Rasangan
4) Sealing tech
5) Barrier
6) Demon Seal

Two or three of these tech he created.
Also he was the first to become hokage at his age.

Itachi in my eyes would put up a fight however won't win U_U

Then again everyone has an opinion...... Facts wise minato would win.

first of all,itachi was a kid at the time when minato was 4th hokage you dodo head.and lastly,minato cant use ftg all the time to dodge itachi's moves.

minato cant use ftg to dodge tsukoyomi.once minato looks in itachi's eyes its over.and by looking at the fight between minato and tobi,i highly doubt minato have knowledge about sharingan abilities

its possible for minato to dodge amaterasu but he is going to have to be very cautious.amaterasu is a very fast move and can catch anyone who is not alert at the time.sasuke caught the raikage with amaterasu and the raikage's speed is very comparable to minato so that pretty much explains that

your right,minato can dodge susanoo but your forgetting that susanoo can also be used for the perfect defense.susanoo has a shield that blocks all ninjutsu so unless minato have super strength like tsunade, then it would be basically impossible for minato to get a hit at itachi.

i say itachi would win this battle

when itachi and kisame were confronted by jiraiya they fled, Itachi saying something on the lines of 'If we don't leave we'll both be killed' Basically admitting that jiraiya is stronger than both of them together and jiraiya himself said that Minato is the strongest shinobi to have lived. Another NB member proved that minato can summon any toad because once you sign the contract you can summon any of them.

Something to acknowledge is that itachi doesn't have much stamina and susanoo depletes chakra crazily, Minato could just ftg to avoid itachi's attacks until he dies since Ftg uses hardly any chakra in comparison. And Minato has a crap load of chakra since he was able to ftg a bijuu dama followed by the kyuubi, seal half of its chakra with death seal, then seal the other half into naruto all after fighting Tobi.

itachi don't have ultimate chakra..he can only use one or two amaterasus and that not gonna kill minato and he can't keep his susano forever he can only do it for a minute and the only thing that can finish minato is tsukuyomi....

minato have more chakra and faster and he can created FTG seal any where he touch (Solid)...or kunai.....

tsukuyomi or itacih is finish..
