What makes the Mei Terumi(5th Mizukage) weak

In some weakest kage threads many people consider the mizukage weak. What exactly makes her appear to be weak? Sure she lost her will in the battle with Madara. But, wasn't she stating the obvious.
Kages-now running on little chakra<<<<<<<<<Madara- who now has unlimited chakra.
Now i know she is no where near as powerfull as Hashirama, nor does she have the stamina of the 3rd Raikage, cause they were special cases.
Hailing from Kirigakure who produces many powerfull ninja (i.e. 2nd Mizukage, Yagura who controlled his biju, 7 swordsmen and Kisame). Why would they elect someone who in all reality has big shoes to fill. We really haven't seen much of her to say she is this and that, cause if thats the case the 1st Tsuchikage would be the best kage ever.

Just a detailed explaination is all im asking for.

Tsunade>Mei all day every day but....

Mei is not "weak" she is just the weakest KAGE.

ps-without Tsunade Mei would have no chakra left halfway through the Madara fight.

It's true, but the only reason is because Kishi doesn't spend enough time developing most of them I really like a lot of the females, but they need more screen time

I completely agree. Also, we haven't seen many of her abilities yet (as she is not a primary character) so people assume she doesn't know many techniques... U_U

I agree with this and the OP, that Mei does appear weak minded at times, as do a lot of the other female characters in Naruto. With Mei's constantly looking for a suitable husband and the fact that she lost hope quickly when the kage's fought Madara is a bit annoying but in no way makes her weak.

In reality who wouldn't be discouraged or fear Madara? Here's one of the most feared people in history who's power when he was alive was significant, and now he's enhanced with the rinnegan, moukton, unlimited chakra, and regeneration.

I don't think she's weak, I don't think any of the kage are, Madara's just hacked and was obviously not meant to be defeated by the kage's at this time.

I wouldnt say there all bad considering that we havn't seen all Kazekages, Mizukages, Tsuchikage, and Raikages. Plus they fight differently than the previous with different styles.
Hashirama-best in ninjutsu and has shown some tenten like fighting style in with is wood release
Tobirama-best in water ninjutsu
Hiruzin-best in ninjutsu also, but idk it is stated he was a good shadow clone fighter.
Minato-best space-time ninjutsu
Tsunade-best medical-nin and taijutsu master.(Were talking bout hokages here)

Konan would have killed Tobi if not for Izanagi, so I really do think she is above Tsunade at least, although one could argue it was just a case of a good match up. Her techs were perfect for countering his invincibility frames with preparation.
