To be a staminia fight i would tsunade would have to be able to keep up with konan, but i just don't see that happening.

To be a staminia fight i would tsunade would have to be able to keep up with konan, but i just don't see that happening.
I messed up the post by saying she they have none and corrected by saying mei doesn't but i realized somthing.
Mei did protect Tsunade from Madara's katon which wasnt far from tsunade and quickly used water dragon. So i guess thats a speed feat.
Everything you said i totally agree, i go from liking mei to tsunade alot.

I guess the fact of the matter is that there's going to be a ranking for the "weakest" kage, and that whoever is deemed that is bound to be looked down upon. You can argue that Mei beats other Kages too, but the same thing would apply to the kage she beats xD
True when i saw that she tanked two swords in her and still fighting i just stared in awe at that panel. Until kishi trolled her by making her collapse. He never gets a female character time to shine for once.

I wouldn't say that Konan can beat Mei.. Paper vs Fire AND Water, Mei is sort of Konan's antithesis. (Let the flames begin). Tsunade vs Mei is debatable but i tend to lean more toward Tsunade in that fight.
But keeping to the main topic of the post, I believe Mei is stronger than she's given credit for, but that's seen a lot with the older characters. They have to give the stage to the younger characters like Naruto and Sasuke.

Also I analyzed the chapter again with the 5kages vs susanoo and it looks like mei didn't even use any lava style techniques nor boil. Raikage wasn't in v2 armor, gaara didn't bury them or try to bury them in sand cause you can still see the trees. honestly they were trolled.
Cuz mei easily melted susano before and they couldn't have caught Raikage if he was teleporting and gaara could use sand tsunami to bury them.
It seems kishi loves to troll in order to make others looks big. I do like madara but even I know that the Kage's were capable of more.

Kishi loves to draw talk no justu. It's the most effective justu there is.My opinion is that Mei gets more screen talk than action on the battlefield. If we got to see what trials she had to go through to get to the Kage seat, I think people would open their opinions more on her.

Its Kishi's inability to portray Females as strong. Actually Mei's Boil release is way too haxxed: well tell me this, as shinobi cant go without breathing..... can u imagine what happens when u breathe an Acid mist that melts Susanoo?

what makes her weak? well she isnt HE and even with two keki genkai she DOESNT HAVE sharingan or renigan, and she's not wearing black, and then she is not quiet :rofl:

Generally the women in Naruto are portrayed as weak in will (except Tsunade, Konan and other few) so that's why Mei is thought as a weak character. It's a pshycological thing.
But I DO think she is pretty strong. She wasn't chosen Kage for nothing...
