Great chapter! Kakashi is finally working out the Space-Time Jutsu Tobi uses & perhaps, vicariously, who he is!

Some thoughts that came to me while reading:

† Since Itachi's and Sasuke's MS were relatively close in there abilities why couldn't it be that way for for the original owner of Kakashi's single MS and one of his family members? If Obito had an older brother or, better yet, a father who shared a similare ability this could easily relate back to Kakashi in an extremely personal way. Uchiha Kagami anyone? He would certainly be the right age for having Obito as his son.

† Kakashi has to be nearly out of chakra - just look at that face he's making! Enter medical-nin Sakura?

† If Kakashi's Kamui and Tobi's Space-Time Jutsus are related perhaps that means that Tobi simply has more control over his tactile version, being a full blooded Uchiha 'n all. This is probably what Kakashi means by "... it's only one jutsu!!"

As far as Tobi's new Uchiha Kaenjin Jutsu goes ...

I believe I understand what "Uchiha Kaenjin" means now...

Uchiha signifies its an jutsu that only Uchiha can use.. "KA"= Fire "ENJIN=RING

It makes sense since the forcefield seems to be in a cylindrical shape...

Great start! here is what I have -

Uchiha is, like you said, relating that this Jutsu is a family Jutsu - perhaps specifically designed for Sharingan users.

Ka- is definitely 'Fire'.

-en- seems to be 'Circle'.

-jin seems to be like saying 'Personal'.

That's the TWIST man! Why use somebody significant to be Tobi? Many people know that in a movie, the main antagonist can be someone you wouldnt expect (have you seen the new Batman?) and once you know who that person is, will see them differently, you will see them as significant. Obito will become significant once he's been uncovered.

I think more and more that Tobi is Uchiha Kagami, who had a son - Obito. It would explain a lot (same MS jutsu, he knows Kakashi, holds grudge against Konoha - the Yellow flash saved Kakashi, but was unable to save his own son).

you may have something there, because CLEARLY kakashi's sharringan and Tobi's are related.. also as someone else stated, tobi doesn't use honorifics when speaking to kakashi, thats something only someone close or very familiar with someone would do (or disrespectful)... i just dont remember any mention of Obito's father

some other thoughts...

Right now we have two main villains - Madara and Tobi so that needs to be fixed I Madara is on his way to see Tobi and its possible that sasuke is going to see Madara and or Tobi. in order for the story to continue sides will have to be taken and I can't wait to see which villain leads, at this point anything seems possible as to who falls on what side. Madara and sasuke's team are both undefined.

It also doesn't seem like madara will be likely to take a side so willingly, he doesn't seem to like being told what to do and will want to be in charge.

If the fight continues kikashi should just teleport bee and Guy to the other dimension and let them handle things there while he and naruto deal with tobi in the real world, giving him no where to hide. some one said that naruto should produce 2 super tailed beast bombs and have kikashi send one to the other dimension hitting tobi in both dimensions simultaneously - either way = epic battle.

Exciting chapter.
Kakashi finally stands up to his name, he's vital to this match in order to fill in the gaps Naruto still has (of course he had a power up, he may not yet be able to master it, anyway is still the usual reckless Naruto).
Difficult to hint at Uchiha Kaenjin as Tobi's name (instead of the jutsu name), but could be related somehow to his identity, who knows?
He's NOT Obito, get over it. Anyway, the mystery is getting so mixed up all we know for sure is that there's a connection between Tobi's and Kakashi's Sharingan. Why or how is still to be seen.
I suspect Kishi may surprise us when the right time comes (anywhere soon).

Jiraiya is alive and indeed nobody does care about Shisui. Tobi is the spirit of Jiraiya trapped inside a zetsu clone of Izuna's body with the crushed sharingan eye of Obito and also the third son of the sage of six paths, didn't everyone know?

How can anybody say that "Tobi is not Obito..." I think he is Obito! I hear people argue he's not because Obito must be around Kakashi's age, and that Kakashi was young and Tobi was grown during the attack of the Nine Tailed Fox. Yeah true, Tobi was grown, but aren't ya'll forgetting this is the Ninja World? Please Consider an old episode of Naruto. In the later half of episode 21, during the Chunin exams, You'll see Rock Lee get floored by two "genin boys". Then towards the end of that episode, You'll see those same two "boys" transform into their true selves: Izumo and Kotetsu, who are Chunin that happen to be GROWN MEN! So what does this mean? It means that it is VERY possible that Tobi transformed into the boy, Obito. Why? As part of a set up to eliminate Konaha's most feared ninja, Minato Namikaze. So whats the other part of the set up? Giving Kakashi his left sharingan, of course. I'd bet "Tobi" manipulated the men to attack young Kakashi. "Take out his eye, but do not kill him" he'd say. Then upon Obito's "death" consider what he said to Kakashi, "Im about to die, but I'll become your EYE and SEE the future WITH you" I believe Tobi can actually see through Kakashi's sharingan. If that's the case, then Tobi did that to keep reconnaissance on Konaha and Minato, who he knew was close to Kakashi. In order for Tobi to achieve his Moon's Eye Plan, he would want to be the only person in the Ninja World to have the sharingan. So here's his whole plan, I believe: "First and foremost: RECON (gotta get information first, in which kakashi's sharingan would be useful), then eliminate Minato (a huge threat), then use sharingan to control the Nine Tails and attack Konaha (which he knew would aroused suspicions on the Uchiha), Then use Konaha's suspicions to wipe out the Uchiha except for Itachi (who'd still be useful), Form the Akatsuki, Collect the Tailed Beast, Resurrect the Ten Tails, Become the Ten Tails Jinchuriki, Kill Kakashi (but not before telling him who he was and that he,Kakashi, unknowingly helped carry out his plan), And finally, cast genjutsu on the World. Moon's Eye Plan: Success. OBITO IS TOBI.

I still don't think Tobi is Obito, but this is one of the more plausible explanations I've heard.

Also, joe is clearly a troll. There's no other reason anybody would keep pushing the issue. Best we all ignore him.

Alot of people have been saying that tobi's jutsu is kamui, and that all this time he has had the ability to teleport things just like kakashi. However think of it this way, what if the intangibility tech tobi has is a secret tec of the sharingan. A tech witch has not yet been seen. This tec alows you to become intangible and able to teleport yourself and others. I dont kno if u guys have noticed but tobi has never teleported anything he wasnt physicaly touching. The upgrade witch the MS gives you is kamui witch alows u to teleport things you are not physicaly touching. Also kamui might be anither secret tech of the MS. I doubt we know All the secrets of the MS and its jutsu so its a posability..... tel me wut u guys think

I dont have a clue who tobi is but theres a few things that everyone is missing out. When kabuto showed Tobi the coffin of Madara, he was shocked and tobi was forced to work with Kabuto. Also, possibly Tobi knew that Madara couldnt be controlled by Kabuto. So possibly this means there is a difference of plot/opinion with madara and tobi. However, Madara seemed to have been plotting with Tobi when he was resurrected through Edo tensei, so possibly Tobi may have changed his plans without Madara knowing. Possibly Madara's plan was to just control the Nine Tailed Beast since it was strongest at the time after the Ten tails was sealed away. Then maybe Tobi realised he could control the Ten tails since he knows Madara is stronger than he is or maybe something else. Regardless this should add to who Tobi is. Personally I think the Izuna theory is the closest but it wouldnt explain why he was shocked to see the coffin.

So, when Kakashi used kamui to absorb the kunai, it went into Tobi's dimension and pierced his real body over there. Same happened with Naruto's Rasengan too"

I don't necessarily think tobi is OBITO, but it makes me think that Tobi does without a doubt have obito's right eye. I think to share the same space/time dimension, you need to have those same eyes. So if Sasuke for example was able to perform Kamui, it would lead to his own space/time dimension. What's your take on that?

I hate the idea that Tobi is Obito as much as the next guy... but the longer the manga goes on the more it seems plausible. Look at Sasuke and Itachi. Their eye techniques are the same. Now compare Tobi and Kakashi. First they have Sharingan in opposite eyes (except no MS from Tobi as we've seen so far). Kakashi's eye pulls object into the same demention that tobi uses. However, Tobi's eye effects himself, or pulls things into his eye, to himself. It doesn't exactly go hand in hand but it is peculiar.
On another note though, first of all Obito died. Tobi looks too old to be Obito as well. Furthermore, Obito wouldnt have a socket for a right eye anyways. In addition Tobi has never been seen using MS, so unless he can somehow use the techniques without having MS then his s/t might be unrelated to the sharingan itself. Obviously this is all speculation, but the only conclusion we can draw is that we really have no idea who Tobi is. However, I would like to offer the idea that Kishi knows about the Obito/Tobi speculation, and probably plays into it on purpose so people will be more surprised when his identity is revealed.
