Obito's dad would be old enough to fit the role, or his eye could have been harvested by Tobi and implanted. It being Obito's dad would be a good reason for him knowing about Kakashi's past

I think its highly probable that Obito's eye is being used by someone, and very unlikely that its Obito. If we know anything about the masked man its that he is a collector of Sharingan.

If that were his name, the chapter would have been dedicated to that revelation and NOT the nature of his technique. It would be poor writing to give away the identity of a character whose identity we've wanted to know for years like that.

All common sense and translations point to Uchiha Kaenjin being the name of his technique and not his own name. Think of it this way, if his name is Kaenjin Uchiha, then what is the name of the technique that he just performed?

I believe I understand what "Uchiha Kaenjin" means now...

Being noted earlier Ka is in the word which probably signifies fire.. (aka katon suiton)..but what does enjin mean? Did some research and came across words like "ring" and "barrier".

Uchiha signifies its an jutsu that only Uchiha can use..

"KA"= Fire "ENJIN"=RING/BARRIER

It makes sense since the forcefield seems to be in a cylindrical shape...

So the technique in a rough translation would probably sound something like

"Uchiha's Flame Ring" "Uchiha's Fire Barrier" or something across those lines

Uchiha simply signifies that only uchiha can use it and its probably a forbidden technique from Madara era. Uchiha is just there to show that ONLY, and i mean ONLY uchiha can use it

I didn't even involve Naruto WIKI...also like I edited in my response..It's kinda like "Sage Art" before a sage mode technique...BTW you're claiming there's more information to back your argument is not your opinion, but your speculation. There is more information and LOGIC signifying that he's talking about the technique, not his name.

Nonetheless, you also have a right to opinion, but stating there is more information leaning towards your opinion doesn't make any sense at all.

The Argument here is Speculation vs Logic.

Logic= Analyzing the situation and the potential meaning of what he said and reason for saying it
Speculation= Him saying "Uchiha Kaenjin" for no reason but whispering to himself because it's his name.
