Haven't seen much proof about Minato, except in the battle against Tobi, in which he was very quick to figure him out. So Minato>Tobi in intellect, since Tobi unestimated him.

Itachi's analytical skills are the best, Shikamaru rules in calculations...

So I'd say: rephrase your question on what kind of genius intellect. sai for instance can be considered the greatest genius when it comes to drawing(visual intellect).
