I've never overrated Itachi. Truth is no one could have stopped him. Naruto and Bee would have been out. The kages were dealing with MAdara. The shinobi forces are a joke. They couldn't even take out Kimmimaro by themselves.
So rlly who else can take on Edo Itachi.

1. Stopped himself. Edo Itachi would have destroyed everyone. He has the most invincible Susanoo combined with an OP genjutsu. Everyone would have been slaughtered.
He kinda did. Actually Naruto stopped him and the crow that was meant for sasuke was unleashed on Itachi
2. Stopped Nagato. Does this really need to be explained. Nagato is insanely OP. He can single handedly destroy villages in seconds. Bee and Naruto would have been already captured if it wasen't for Itachi.
He kicked Controlled Nagato but
3. Stopped Kabuto. No explanation needed.
He battled him and trapped in a powerful Genjitsu (awesome)
4. Stopped the rest of Edo's
Forced Kabuto to release Edo Tensi
5. Madara still Edo.

All I'm going to do is point out your mistakes.
@Bold: Saying that Itachi would have "slaughtered" everybody is overrating. And Itachi's Susano'o is inferior to Madara's.
@Red: He stopped Nagato, but he was only able to do that because he had help.
@#3: Bro... that was just Plot-No-Jutsu. No further explanation required.
- Haha no. Naruto didn't know what was going on. Itachi guessed and it worked. His plan. Naruto had no in on Itachi's thought process.
- Controlled or not controlled thats not the point.
- He stopped Kabuto. Even if the Edo's are gone. Kabuto himself is dangerous

-That's not overrating at all. That's underrating at it's best. There would have been no one to stop Itachi. Just like there was no one to stop the best kages out there like Muu, 2nd Mizu and 3rd Raikage.
So really how am I overrating. You are underrating if you think unlimited stamina Itachi would be overrun by nameless fodders.
- They only stopped Nagato because of Itachi's game plan. You cannot deny this fact. If Itachi wasen't there Bee and Naruto would be captured. Juubi would be summoned gg manga.
- Plot no jutsu really? Cause I remember all of the fodder forces needing help against the tougher opponents in the series.

It likely would have been Kakashi's "squad" if Kishi wanted to play it out that way, given Kakashi is one of the very few who can match wits with Itachi, and would have found out a way to seal him.
Again, that's going off of my prediction if Kishi wanted Itachi to stay on "kabuto's side".
If you wanna throw plot away, who could stop Deidara? Just blow himself up over and over. There's several others you could add to that "who could stop him" list, as well.
Good comeback. I really don't see how I'm overrating him. I'm not saying he would solo the Shinobi World there would have just been no one to stop him and I don't think anyone is disagree with me.
Kakashi has his chances but Itachi already bested him enough. To add insult to injury most of his squad was taken out by the 7 swordsmen. I can't speak on matters of plot, but Itachi taking himself of Kabuto's control must have plot. I don't see how else he could get sealed with Susanoo and no kages being there to do anything.

Those achievements don't mean crap at this point,i don't think you realize this but things are much worser than they've ever been,you need to wake up and see that shits about to get real,and when i say real i mean real ugly,real soon, madara still lives plus the juubei about to be resurrected,plus orochimaru is back a villain much worst than kabutos bitch ass,oh yea and btw sasuke still plans to go after konaha, what itachi did was basically give them fools a half time to get ready for the final quarter, and so many half already died, whats gonna happen when madara finds them? what gonna happen after tobi fully unleashes the juubei? whats orochimaru planing? if anything shits looks a billion times worst,do you understand whats gonna happen when these forces collide?

Kakashi wouldn't beat him. Just would come up with the plan to do so, at least, I think that's how Kishi would have wrote it, anyway. There's always pulling Itachi out of Susanoo, as underneath it is a weak point. And Danzo's wind cut in to Sasuke's susanoo, it's likely that other high powered techniques could do the same.
Susanoo is not some perfect defense. It's definitely beatable.
