Exactly that was just a complete pi**take. Pirlo had some nerve but it makes me respect him even more than I already did. Young was terrible, even Milner did a better job than he did and he is terrible but at least he works hard. Not that it would have made a difference as England couldn't string two passes together in that second half but he should have come off IMO

This is why there should be more Arsenal players in the starting XI, at least our English players are better suited to the continental game

. With Wilshere in the middle, the ball retention would have been better because he is one of the few english players that can pass the ball competently and plays for a team that actually plays possession football.
