Ao could have fight against Shisui without problems

and after thinking a little bit about how he could have fight him and avoiding being caught in genjutsus, i came to the conclusion that it may be possible.

Yes, Ao could do this thanks to the Byakugan. To use sharingan genjutsu, eye contact is needed, but look again at this pic:

You can clearly see that his eye is protected, but thanks to Byakugan ability he can see through it.

That's a great advantage that gives the Byakugan comparing with other dojutsus. It's that you can fight and see what is happening even if you close your eyes. So by doing this, Ao could have fight against Shisui without problems

Another conclusion of this is that a Byakugan user can actually fight against Sharingan without problems if the user is skill enough

if ao has byakugan activated, and someone with a regular sharingan is behind them, they can technically see their eyes, but the sharingan cant cast genjutsu on the back of ao's head :|

Good point. We haven't seen KA used properly before so it's hard to comment on how it works but it does seem like you could avoid regular eye genjutsu if you break the opponent's eye contact with you.

On second thought KA doesn't require direct eye contact because Danzou used it at the kage summit without removing his bandages from his eye. Still this seems like a possible way to avoid standard genjutsu.

because KA does not even require eye contact that is why you fail. if shisui has Ka available its impossible to fight him.

Show me the page where it's stated it doesn't require eye contact. It's only fanboys who came with such BS. If it was the case then Danzo was idiot to show his eye against Sasuke when he was about to use the jutsu. He could have use it discretly, what he didn't do

What are you talking about? Danzo used it on Mifune with the bandage covering his eyes.

Danzo didn't use it on Sasuke because it needed time to recharge.

It's implied that he can. Nowhere at the time Danzo could have met with Mifune before the council. See he was the last one to show up.
