Tobi's basic plan, as far as we know it, was this: Use the tailed beast chakra to make an army of Zetsu clones. Use the Zetsu clones to fight the war. After the first day, use the Zetsu clones perfect copy technique to pretend to be allied ninja, to create confusion and assassinate many ninja. This will lure out Naruto, whose special Fox powers are the only thing able to sense zetsu clones. Once naruto is out, Tobi will overpower and capture him with the Gedo Mazo, the other tailed beast powers, and some other techniques from the Rinnegan and Sharingan. Also, along the way, Sasuke would be turned into some kind of ultimate warrior to be Tobi's ally.

However, Naruto and Bee together, along with Kakashi, Gai and an army of reinforcements might be more than enough to hold back Tobi on the battlefield. This is especially true because Naruto keeps getting more powerful the longer the battle goes on. His sage mode sensory powers combined with his increasing connection with the fox allowed Naruto to fight 5 other Edo Zombie Jinchuuriki by himself and win, something that tobi didn't think was possible. On the back side, Sasuke killed the original white Zetsu and is either an enemy of Tobi or at least not a reliable ally.

Tobi does have some sort of backup plan, we know. He did collect the sealing jar with the Kin/Gin brothers and the 9-tails chakra. he also had a portion of the 8-tails chakra from Sasuke and the tentacle. This might be enough for him to form at least a weakened version of the 10-tails, which would still make him the most powerful ninja on the battlefield.

If Madara was somehow able to survive the release of Edo Tensei (and with Rinne Tensei, I suggest it is possible), that makes up for the other things Tobi has lost (Sasuke, the original white zetsu, Naruto's inexperience and lack of fox-control).

I don't think the war is over, because Tobi had a plan before Kabuto and his zombie army ever joined, and with Yamato's capture Zetsu is still stronger than Tobi had planned, and the zombies did help to kill more allied ninja so his army of Zetsu is larger after the first day than he planned. We've still got a lot of war left, I think, but Tobi did lose a lot of his overwhelming advantage.

Give hope, I think. Tobi had a plan before Kabuto joined, and even though Kabuto added a lot of strength to his side, Tobi's was confident in his own plan without him. Without Kabuto around doing his own thing, we might start to see what Tobi's plan actually was.

Tobi alone is a lost case. He is struggling with Naruto & Bee badly. If Edo are gonna he'll be alone, Sasuke wouldnt think about him, he'll head to the elders.

Seriously.. it wasn't only 14 pages. There were a couple double pages. It was around the normal 17 pages.

But I agree that Sasuke's excuse to destroy Konoha is too lame. He wanted to destroy Konoha because they made his brother what he is. But even though Itachi told him that he loved Konoha and is still fighting for them he still wants to destroy all his brother stood for. Makes no sense.

everyone is saying they expected more from sasuke, they wanted him to do this and that but his role in the story is just avenge his clan.

I hope not as well. But if Tobi is revealed in this movie then it would make sense as to why this is all being rushed. Because it would be shitty if we see who Tobi is in a filler film before in the manga.

But then again, this is an alternative version in Naruto so maybe Kishi will troll & reveal Tobi in the film before manga but it isn't the same person. xD

For one we don't know if his identity will be revealed in the movie, if anything it would add to the mystery to him and his identity.

The movie if anything will be a good cliffhanger leading up to it being revealed.

What do you mean by Tobi's no Edo Madara? In terms of raw power, Madara might have the advantage, but overall Tobi is the smarter more efficient fighter.

And you have to remember that Kishi hasn't shown us Tobi's true power and/or what he still intends to do.

guys need to understand that how powerful a villian is based on their impact on the story. Tobi and madara fro example have phlisohoical deapth. Itachi also had more impact on the story and he was quite strong.

Its only natural you make the strong characters in a series the ones that impact the story progression the most.
Sasuke hasnt got anuything to bring to thge story, guys like itachi, jiraiya, orocihmaru, 1st hokage, madara, the stone kages and many more impact the story's orgins and they are strong as a result in order to stay relveant in the story.

Ask ur self with sasuke? whats the point in making sasuke stronger when clearly naruto's destiny is revlotuse the world and stop the greater eveil, tobi/madara. U cant end the series on with a match with sasuke for example because sasuke's back drop hasnt got anything do to with why the events from madara's fight with hasihram to know happened.

Sasuke has not deapth as a character so I doubt kishi would make sasuke much stronger compared to somelike madara in the future for example.

Sasuke's place in the story is for naruto to make an example out of him that darkness and hate can frogive the past things that tobi and madara dont agree with at all and represent the darkness in the series.
