I agree with you. Plus there's a chance Naruto began using the scroll some days before. Besides, we have seen his chest as he was training, LOL, so we couldn't know if he was still using exactly the same outfit.

Naruto Manga Series Awsome and Depressing
Hi my name is Ryan and I am new to this forum. I have currently watched all of the manga up to the manga 430. I like the series so far but the thing that is really bothering me is how Kakashi may actually be dead. It seems they kill off all of the good characters that everyone likes. Especailly Naruto's father and mother. His mother is Pein's sister and she was killed while birthing Naruto. I am sorry but that is sort of lame. Also the fact that Minato (Naruto's father) lived such a short life really made me angry. He is the noblest and best moraled character in this whole series but they kill him off in the very beginning. I know this seems to add drama to the show it is just that it seems most Japanese anime is so depressing and there is no such thing as a happy ending. Even Jirayah is killed off by Pein and that is yet another great character killed off.
What would truly make me happy is if they somehow revvived Minato and Naruto's mother so he may actually get to live with his parents instead of never having ones hardly at all. I hate to be so negative about the series but certain things just bother me. I think this show is awsome and I pray Minato may return to see what his son has become. That would truly make me happy with this series compared to a lot of other series. Thanks for your time and reading. Let me know what you think please. Now, I don't think Minato will come back. He has been dead for long. Unless Naruto knows a forbidden jutsu to bring him back, which I doubt.
I have already accepted that the 2 main characters are motherless, that's what Kishi wanted to show.

Hi all this is my first post as well. Kishi is not going to bring Minato or any other charaters back to life. He may have borrowed ideas from DBZ but there are no dragon balls in Naruto to wish everyone back. I think he's killed off all these great people to advance the story. If Minato, Jman or any of the other great characters were here they'd be the ones fighting right now and Naruto would be sitting on the sidelines. Sasuke would also probably still be in Konoha. Without those deaths non of this would be possible. Besides the only way to bring them back is to use the forbidden jutsu Oro used, but they would only be puppets controled by the summoner. I don't think Kakashi is dead either. I believe Kishi still has big things in store for him.

Yes, Naruto has another storyline, if we leave alone superpowers, the storyline is a bit more realistic, the dead are dead.

When reading this chapter something else caught my attention. After Pein blew a hole in Konoha he seemed to be enjoying himself. However, Konan didn't seem the least bit amused. On page 14 Konan stated this would be the last time she uses her paper clone. To me it sounds like she wants to leave him to his own thing and go elsewhere. I think this is important because during the Kishi interview he stated that a member of Akatsuki will befriend Naruto. If I'm on with this one then she would be the member who becomes his friend.
