clones are different from the users is all i am trying to state and if chakra lvl were the only difference how come neji defeated his clone, same with lee and gai.

Raikage is faster than the 8 gates as stated in the manga the only man as fast as raikage is Minato. Sasuke was a fraction of a second behind Raikage's movements as seen with the body flicker technique. Point is Kakashi's Eye can read most of Gai's movements. Kakashi is smarter and his ninjutsu is on a 1 hit KO level.

this is why i said clones are not the same as the original, the original can observe things and gain experience clones cannot which is what differentiates the itachi fighting kakashi and the real one

Also, Kakashi could consume that attack with MS as shown he used it on a susano arrow so do not say it is too fast. Also that attack practically exhuasted gai as would MS on kakashi. So there ya have it. 8gates and MS now counter eachother and dissipate. Then just exhuasted kakashi vs Exhuasted and semi injured gai.

Think about it carefully u have seem wat gai is able to.do, and u hae seen watkakashi could do so compared that 2 now and put them in a fight.

Only 1 time in synch but gai's main attacks with gates take him out of the mode almost moments later and have large scale body dmg too. Same goes for Kakashi. So then it would be a tired kakashi vs a tired Gai in which kakashi has advantage as he is smarter.

Because after that all happens kakashi could summon dog squad and they all have independent chakra and could keep gai occupied until kakashi got his opening. Worst case for Kakashi they both pass out. I think he would win. But in no way can i see Gai winning with Kakashi's defense earth affinity, MS, and superior intellect
